  • Thanks Beanie, I'm trying! Hope you are too Xx

Today has been a NSD :j. Took a picnic to a Nat Trust place and enjoyed the (sporadic) sunshine, parks and low ropes course :D. MiL and dog came with us as she is a member too, and we all had a lovely day.

DH has been extra slow and forgetful today though. Things like not remembering if he has brushed his teeth 2 minutes after he'd finished doing it, and putting his phone on charge and then panicking 30 seconds later that he'd lost it because he's forgotten plugging it in. He's got a very short fuse too. No seizure though despite the build up signs.

:) to the NSD and such a lovely day too. Mr SA is forever thinking he's lost his phone when he hasn't. Drives you mad doesn't it?

Well done on the theatre ticket win :)

I hope you were wrong about the sugar craving and nothing major happened overnight.

I am fascinated by your discussion on brain injuries. Lots of the things you mention happen to Mr P too. He has never had a physical brain injury but his chemical damage by overwork and the wrong prescription drugs shows some similar symptoms. The prescribed drugs did the most damage.

  • Pooh that sounds rather serious! Has Mr P been checked out for damage?

SA, it certainly does drive you nuts! As does the anger and slowness. I'm afraid he has been rather getting on my nerves today :o.

DS2 passed his swimming course this morning with 100% :j. He is moving up to the next level from Monday. It's £13.50 per week so I'm hoping to keep it going for most of the holidays. The rest of us swam while he had his lesson too.

Family Fun Friday again and we've been to see AntMan (DS2's choice) this afternoon, which was very good actually. I did have a bit of anxiety while in there thinking about the awful cinema shooting in the US yesterday. Overall though, I've been less anxious today which has been a welcome break.

Well done DS2 :) My DS used to belong to a life saving club when he was a lot younger and became a qualified lifeguard. He loved it. I used to go to step aerobics while he had his lessons then pick him up after.

Awful about the US cinema shootings. It does make you wonder how long before it happens here.

  • DH had a seizure :(. I was on my way home from work and DS1 called an ambulance who got here before me. I can't believe the timing of it - MiL is usually with them while I'm at work but she accepted a last minute invite and we thought they'd be ok for once just the 3 of them. Famous last words.

This time he didn't lose the use of his left hand side, but he couldn't speak properly. It sounded like Latin!! He's more himself now but very depressed and still having a few waves despite having had seizure meds.

So, 27 weeks 4 days to beat.
