Thanks for the love Lucky, beanie & SA. Has sunk in a bit more now. Yes the frightened feeling in receding. It is just going to be a testing time for them and I am so blooming helpless here.

Lilt you must have had a premonition! Not e number fuelled, but DS2 has been awake for 2 hours with a high temperature . Poor little guy has just got over something similar last week! I've stripped him off and dosed him up with calp0l, but he's still burning up. DH has slept through it all entirely!

Re your situation, it's horrible when you feel helpless. You being an emotional support for you Mum will be much appreciated though, I'm sure. As you say, testing times ahead Xx

Thanks Granny. Just back from the Walk In Centre with DS2 who has an ear infection and is now on antibiotics . It's a beautiful day out there too

Oh bless the little man. At least the high temp is explained poppet. Hope the anti-b's kick in sharpish and he feels much better soon. High temps around here at the minute seems to mean scarlet fever :eek: so am glad at least it is not that!

Turned horrid here now. Cold and grey. Was lovely when we were out this morning but I am now cuddled up with a hot water bottle!! xx

Best wishes to your little 'un and hope he feels better soon. Mine were forever getting ear infections when they were young.

DS2 slept on and off yesterday afternoon and then most of the night too. He's feeling a bit better today and is asking to go to the beach to get fish and chips :rotfl:. Considering he's barely eaten since Sunday I might just take him if that's what he wants!

Just realised it's Tuesday so I can ring Groupon and give them what for!! However, Tuesday also means I have to face the scales later :eek:. It aint gonna be pretty - again!!
