Ooh, and all haircuts are fab! I got mine cheap by going with it washed and wet already and then waiting til I got home to dry it myself!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Haha!! Lucky I always wash, dry and straighten my hair before I go, so I just have a dry trim. Still costs a blooming arm and a leg but she does such a lovely job.. sigh.
Amazing news about the circus. I am so happy you all had such an amazing time.
Good news... Me&O have decided we are just size 8's who get cold so have added extra padding. This is what I intend to tell everyone who asks.
You are very organised indeed. Am very mightily impressed!! xxx

We are home after a brilliant week away. Cottage was lovely and cosy and had no wifi and very little phone signal, so it did us good to bond as a family without the usual distractions. We had some great day trips (Bolton Castle, Fountains Abbey, Lightwater Valley, Forbidden Corner) and embraced the Wensleydale scenery. The boys learned how to make cheese at the Creamery, we went swimming a few times and spent many hours on an evening playing Uno too. Spent way more than I hoped, but thoroughly enjoyed it, and got discounts wherever possible.
DH remains seizure free (must admit to being worried about the logistics of him having a bad attack whilst we were so remote!). He coped well with being away and seems quite 'level' at the minute. *wanders off to touch some wood*.
Today has been a NSD. We travelled home this morning and I've spent the day catching up on washing and ironing etc. Gutted it's the last day tomorrow before back to school on Monday, though my bank balance is breathing a sigh of relief!!
How's everyone? XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hello there!!
I missed you muchly but it is great to see just how much you packed in to your week away. Good news about DH. Hope the boys were well behaved. As for the money... you scrimp year round to squirrel money away for times like this, and pay a shedload off your debt monthly. I think it is about time you had a fab break away that you and the boys will remember for a long time!
Wish today had been an NSD here. Jelly complained her feet hurt while walking this morning so a random trip to Clark Kents cost me £30 for a pair of new trainers. She has gone through two sizes in double quick time so I am glad I put thick socks on her for the last fitting!!
Lots of love xx

Welcome home Lucky. Glad you had a fab time. Don't worry about spending too much, as Lilt says you scrimp and save most of the time, you deserve to relax a bit. You can't put a price on happy memories xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Wow fantastic PLMBL. Sounds like you had a wonderful break and hubby is doing amazing. :T.
You may have spent more than planned but it sounded well worth it for the quality family time you all got.
Brilliant that hubby coped with all the stresses of going away :j.
Things are looking so much brighter lately. Super pleased for you xxx0 -

Evening all, thank you for the welcome back!
Been MIA for a few days but no major drama, just trying to get back into the swing of things. Boys are both back at school, so of course the weather has been fantastic, and DH and I have been doing lots of walking and gardening etc. He joined SW with me on Tues as he is about a stone and a half over what he was before Christmas, and we are both going to try to get in shape again for summer. I put 4lbs on in Wensleydale but I enjoyed every mouthful!! Ginger cheese anyone?
DH has been quite moody again the last couple of days and had a 'wave of fear' yesterday. Still no full seizure, but thought it would happen last night as he was super jerky in his sleep. Will see what the next few days bring.
Had my first telephone CBT consultation this afternoon which was interesting, and next week's appointment is booked. There will be 8 in total and they are sending me stuff out in the post too. It seems like it will be a help to understand my thought process and how to prevent anxiety or deal with it if it happens. However, I'm feeling better at the moment so hopefully that will continue too.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I'm glad you had a lovely holiday
fountains abbey is one of my all time favourite places, I used to love going to brimam rocks also which i think isn't too far away. I plan to take the Hinge's away next year if we can find a nice cottage.
