  • Thanks Granny, Happy Easter to you too.

Late one (for me!) tonight as I've been at work and then helping the Easter Bunny set a trail for the boys in the morning :p. My brain is frazzled from making up rhyming clues!

Went swimming this morning - it's gone up by 10p (5p per boy!). The cheek :rotfl:.

  • Ah enjoy KW, I'm sure you will!

DH is in a strange mood. He's been watching a documentary about Rik Mayall and is gutted to 'find out' he's dead. This is despite knowing all about it when it happened last June and we've discussed it a couple of times since whenever he is surprised to hear about it again 'for the first time'. What I'm trying (badly) to explain, is that I bumble along knowing that DH is not laying down memory paths, but sometimes it stops me in my tracks that he forgets everything repeatedly. There are obvious similarities between Rik's quad bike accident (and the partial blame of seizures on his death), and DH's accident/head injury/seizures, and that has unsettled DH a bit I think.

    Hello you

I panicked when i saw 10 posts! So just glad DH has not had a seizure first and foremost. Gutting about the circus. Did you accidentally buy tickets for the town they are at at the moment, or did group0n advertise it incorrectly?!?! Either way kick up a stink ;)

Bless DH not laying down memories. I am feeling very sad and a bit frightened today. My Pop died this morning. he has been in a home for less than a month but on bad days my mum gets upwards of 15 phone calls a day asking where he is from my Nanny. Now he really is gone... and she has taken it well apparently. But I feel for my incredibly fragile mum who is going to have to go over it again and again.. and write it repeatedly in my Nans memory diary. :(

However it comes about not being able to retain memories is a very frightening experience for everyone really. You have all my love xxx

  • Lilt, I've already said so on your diary, but I'm so sorry to hear of your Pop's passing. It's understandable that you feel sad, but I hope the frightened feeling has gone now. Your poor Mum and Nanny, it must be so hard for them both in very different ways. Take care lovely Xx

Groupon sold me tickets for the circus on the basis of it being in Newcastle. They advertised certain dates, Good Friday being one of them, yet it isn't here until Wednesday coming . It's currently in Hartlepool, so still in the North East but not exactly round the corner!!

Boys woke up hyper at 7am. They had great fun completing the egg hunt that the Easter Bunny left them and it was lovely to watch how excited they got. They ended up with over 20 eggs between them from friends and family though . Ridiculous! We went to MiL's for lunch and as it has been a beautiful sunny day we spent much of the afternoon in the garden. I even had a cheeky glass of wine! Lush :D.

Hope everyone has had a wonderful Easter Xx
