Oh bless DH.
I don't know whether it would help or hinder at this moment in time, but in my usual pragmatic tactless way I would have said something along the lines of... we could all do the same thing. My nan has dementia and she barely knows who I am these days and continually asks my daughter 'What's your name then?' and laments to my mum that she has never met her and hasn't seen me in so many years. It runs in the family down both sides of my genetic lines so I genuinely have that precise same fear. One day I may not be able to remember my daughters face. I think it is a common concern so he isn't as alone as he fears..
I really feel for him though, and for you and the kids too. It isn't an easy life for anyone.
As for DS1, bless him lol. I wonder indeed where the indecisiveness comes from
Lots of love xxx

Lilt, that's exactly what I said to DH! Told him we might be living in adjoining nursing homes one day not having a clue who each other are! Thankfully he took that in good spirits and the way I intended it. He hasn't mentioned it again since - probably scared of what I might say next
.
DF(w), DS2 is off school again today. His high temperature and swollen glands morphed into a cold and cough overnight so I kept him off again, but truth be told he's not too bad and I'd imagine he'll be back at school tomorrow.
Went to docs this morning for a review of my anxiety meds. I was pleased to be able to report that I'm feeling much better these days, and have only had one really bad day in the last fortnight. We are leaving things as they are until my next review in 6 weeks, but I'm to go back immediately if things start to ramp up again meanwhile. When I got home I got a call to start the ball rolling for a Carer's Assessment too, so I feel like things are finally moving there since that was promised in January.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Afternoon PLMBL,
Hope DS is feeling better soon. We currently have a sickness bug taking us down 1 by 1. Luckily its already the holidays here or else that would be more time off work. Its never ending it is.
Good news about that you're feeling loads better in yourself now.

Glad to hear you're feeling more yourself again. It's a pity we don't live near you as Mr Lucky and Mr SA could wallow together and talk about their roofing days. I know they got their brain damage in totally different ways but in a lot of respects they are so similar. Take care xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Phew I am glad you thought along the same lines as me and didn't take offence!! Sometimes I wonder at myself :rotfl: methinks it does people good when wallowing in their own thoughts to remember that other people around them have similar or differing concerns that are just as frightening and important as theirs.
Poor DS2, running through the mill a bit again isn't he! How is DS1's foot now? Did he go to Scouts in the end?!
Fab news about Dr's and carers assessment. All coming together againthe good old NHS will stitch you back together in no time! xx

Mummy, I hope everyone gets well soon and you avoid catching it.
SA, I think it's scary how similar our men sound sometimes! It would be awesome if we were closer.
Today would have been FIL's birthday so we spent some time with MIL. I also made some Easter cards with DS2 using yellow paint to make finger prints and then adding legs and beaks with a pen when dried to make them look like chicks. They are very cute if I say so myself, and the Grandmas will love them. Saves buying anything too so an added bonus!
In other news, the scales at chub club confirmed I am a fat piggy  XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Sorry Lilt, cross posted!
DS1 did go to Scouts and enjoyed it. Tonight was also his last night at Cubs (they go to both for 3 weeks as a cross over) so that was nice as he was presented with several awards and they made a bit of a fuss of him. He hasn't complained about the foot today at all XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Debt calculation time as it's the 1st of the month (and because money is what this diary is actually supposed to be about even though it rarely is!!). Debt currently stands at £2245 so not much of a reduction again this month
. Don't think April will be any great shakes either with the boys being off for a fortnight. Might actually get sub £2k by Christmas :rotfl:.

Cheers Beanie! I don't mind that much really as the extra went towards things like Family Fun Friday which is priceless.
Sister is coming over tonight and I'm really looking forward to seeing her. Think I've only seen her twice this year because her partner is poorly and she is really busy with work. She looked very stressed when I saw her last.
Last day of school tomorrow :j XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
