  • So as I just said, today has seen an improvement in DH :T. We spent much of the day sorting out things from the loft and did a massive charity shop and tip run. I have some things put aside to sell and we are only about a third of the way through . I had no idea how much stuff was actually up there!!

Our second Family Fun Friday was a complete success. DS2 chose the museum (free :D) and we got over an hour in there before it closed, which was more than enough because it was empty so we got to see everything easily. DH got quite depressed though because he couldn't remember ever being there before, but he has been at least 4 times, most recently in the summer holidays.
Afterwards we got the boys a burger and had a wander round town before coming home. Just got to think of something for us to do next Friday now!

Tomorrow I am making Unicorn poo. Why don't you do that?

I might come back and explain. I might leave you with it to ponder. :heart2:

  • Glad to hear hubby is still seizure free but even if he was to have one soon he's done so well to get to almost 11 weeks!! (obviously hoping he doesn't though).

You are constantly clearing out for the tip and charity shop, where does it all come from??lol I sent 2 bags to BHF last week and then popped into the shop in curiosity of how baby clothes are priced and all our stuff we had sent was on display! At least I now know where it ends up. I'm hoping I'll keep on top of the clutter now but as ever could do with more storage!

Glad Friday fun was had again, must be Easter hols soon - do you have any nice plans?
  • I'm so glad DH picked up Lucky :T Your second fun day sounded great! Now that the evenings are getting lighter could you visit some NT or EH places after school if there is enough time? Perhaps ice/roller skating? Laser quests? That sort of thing?

Are your kids off school now or next week? Mine broke up Thursday but weather seems to be good one day and then raining the next, has been like that for weeks now which should make for a fun Easter holidays (not!) xx

As you will soon find out with your new addition Nicky, most of the stuff comes from the kiddies!! I've finally accepted (well sort of!) that another baby wouldn't be a good idea so I'm trying to be brave and get rid of all that stuff. I'm also trying to employ the tactic of thinking "If I was moving house, would I take this with me??". If the answer is 'no' then it goes the distance in whichever way appropriate!!

Those things are definitely on the list DF(w), along with stuff like walks on the beach and trips to the park. Can't wait for the nicer weather!

My lot break up next Thurs. can't wait for that either, I love it when they are off. We have some time at home and some time away planned courtesy of MiL :T.

I am relieved for you that DH had been seizure free. I hope you have lots of fun over the weekend. It is tipping it down here so hope it isn't like that there. We went to the Great North museum a couple of weeks ago and spent an hour and s half before closing in the mouse hole! DGD loved it and I met my cousin with her DGS. It was quiet too. Definitely recommended for a Friday after school.

  • That's the one we went to Pooh! DS2 loves it there, particularly the T-Rex skeleton!!

It's tipping it down here too, so much so that DS1 has decided against going to football club this morning even though he's been dying to go all week. Have to say I'm relieved! He is going to his Cousin's Parkour birthday party this afternoon anyway so he will still get plenty of exercise.

Glad there was no seizure - he's doing really well. Weather was glorious here yesterday but gloomy and wet today until just now - the sun has come out. Have a fab school hols, I know you enjoy them.

Rained all day here so ditched the unicorn poo (indoor activity) in favour of traipsing to Argus for baby gates and then going to the further away park. Came back frozen through! And soaked. But herself enjoyed it much!

Unicorn poo is popcorn, coated in melted chocolate with sprinkles and even edible glitter if you feel up for that ;) Awesome stuff.

    Big hugs xx
