Morning all. Welcome newbies and returners.
Piggers - hope today goes as well as can be expected.

I'm going to start today with ironing. It's already set up as DD's BF has made a start on his stuff. She has him well trained - well done her!

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning.

    Just the dailies done yesterday.

Bedroom today after my friend has come to fix my curtain pole.

Not as cold this morning as it was yesterday. Must have been a bit nippy during the night as the ginger ninja was under the quilt. Had him a year now.

Welcome to all returners and newbies.

Vanilla positive thoughts being sent for the wee kitten.
    Pigpen Thinking of you today.
  • Wow those ducks are amazing - I know I have said it before but you crafty lot are so clever. I am hopeless at things like that.

So, yesterday I worked, walked the dog, sorted some washing, made a roast for tea, made a cake to take to a friends tonight, hoovered and dusted the living room very quickly, hoovered the mud off the utility room floor and ordered a birthday present online. That took me until 9.30pm by which time I was well and truly fed up!

Thinking of you and your cat Pigpen.

    Welcome Cattysmum.

Mmm, pulling everything out from under the bed. That may not happen but we will see! I am tired this morning and need to get ready for work. DS1 has appointment with psychologist this aft then we are at a friends for bonfire night.

    Hello!
I have been MIA for a few months.
I have been busy with the paid stuff (50ish hrs pw), and have now finished my foundation degree. I have decided not to top it up to a full degree(well, not this year anyway!) as I wan my life back! I seem to be playing catch up with flying all the time.

I haven't caught up with what has been happening in the last few months, so hugs, sticks, spoons, posi vibes to all that need them. I notice a few people are having cat issues - I sympathise! My oldish cat is pooping/peeing in all sorts of places :( Drives me nuts!

I have an unexpected day off (well, until 3pm anyway), so I am determined to make the most of it. The house is generally ok, but I have too many hot spots. Also a pond full of frogs, mainly paperwork/work related ones.

    Plan today is:
    Get up & showered!!!
    Make a list
A few HHCs to get started.

Well.. I cannot judge if today is 'the' day because he has gone out and isn't visible in the garden.. he can still get over the fence so could be anywhere and could even have done what they do and go off to leave..

Pull everything out from under the bed and hoover (I still remember when Mudbath found a door under her bed)

I'll confess to having a glass dining table top under mine:o we got rid of the table legs years ago and didnt know what to do with the top, it got put under there so it didnt get broken and there it stayed

  • Morning peeps! Lovely ducks. Sorry about the cat woes :(. Ours is sleeping on the bed now, will be so sad when she leaves us. :heart2: for pigpen and family.

Paid work today, but as I work from home, there's always a temptation to do other stuff. I feel guilty for doing housework because I'm not working, and guilty for working because I'm not doing housework. Can't win.

    Aims are:
    Declutter work emails
Make a timetable / plan for how to get the rest of these b!**£y essays marked by the deadline
    Shower and dressed
    Declutter 6 essays

Then collecting kids, plus a school friend. While they play, aiming to clear up downstairs and get tea on (swapped meal plan around - fishfingers and chips from the freezer, easy and I know the school friend will eat it!). Also expecting someone to collect a large piece of ebayed furniture, which will hopefully improve the Room of Doom! But I need to clean it a bit before they collect. Then drop school friend home, and fireworks display tonight.

Off to sort out the emails...
