Hello everyone, I cant believe I have not read this thread before now, Im at work at the minute (work nights, week on week off) and have spent the last hour or so reading from beginning of the thread and trying to get the hang of the abbreviations. Think I have my head round it now and would like to join in if that is ok. It is quite difficult for me to get into a cleaning routine because of the shifts I work, when Im on nights I dont get up till about 13:30 then I tend to just potter around in the afternoon because OH has done majority of regular chores, he is retired and does not mind a bit of housework. When on my week off, I run around like a mad woman trying to get all stuff done that I didnt do on my work week... I need some organisation in my life!!!! I may not have time to post every day but I am going to carry on reading and lurking this week and join in next week, oh my I have so many frogs to eat (ps love that phrase) Looking forward to getting organised.SPC No. 295 - SPC No10 target £350

Three little ducks, all ready for the off!
The pattern that I mentioned earlier says to put in a running stitch to narrow the chick's neck, but I don't think that's necessary for ducks. I just added stuffing and then put a running stitch in to gather up the opening in the base - this automatically makes a nice rounded duck shape, and the beak also works well (a rectangle of felt with rounded corners, stitched across the centre, then folded and sewn just at the folded corners to keep the beak shut).
Very pleased with my recyclingand I hope the people who find them enjoy them and read the stories on the project website. According to the map on the website, the place where I shall release them does not have any previous finds.
I've found an odd ball of yellow wool so I'll make some more when I have time.0 -
Here I am again, after a few months of not feeling good so not much flying done. I have managed to do a fair bit, for me that is, today. I would like to follow my own list for a few weeks until I can take control of the house a little. I am de-cluttering all sorts to the charity shop and just trying to make things simpler.
Today I have
taken youngest dd to work
walked dog
loaded car for charity shop
wm x2 including my mums bedding
dwx1
Cleaned thoroughly round 2/3rds of living room, 1 settee vacc'd, all furniture pulled out, carpet vac'd, polished and dusted in said area
Washed hall carpet with vax
made dinner
Hoping to complete living room tomorrow, won't be perfect but neither am I. Then will move into kitchen for the de-clutter!
Hugs, sticks and spoons to all
Dotty daisyNSD 1/3,
My mantra is After I ....I will. eg After I make my morning coffee, I will take my medication. Eventually this will become a habit,0 -

My cat is off over rainbow bridge tomorrow I think.. he has become much more unwell this evening and it is time to let him go. DS1 wants to come with us. He is his cat, or was I guess.. so that should be fun. DD1 also wants to come say goodbye to him and she is doing nothing but wail at the moment as it is.. I see a fun filled day!
I restarted MOL's cardy.. I decided a bigger size was required so pulled it all out... I have done 18 rows!
Bed time for me once I have done the 1000 things I just thought of!
Kitty vibes heading over for Vanilla's addition!
