I got in from dropping DD1 to work and DD2 walks through the door claiming sickness  She is now currently in pj's, sleeping under a throw on the sofa.
DW on, WM on, one load of washing on airer. Chat had via FB with friend who has the week off work but it poorlydon't think we'll be meeting up now. Don't really want the lurgy, I'm not a good patient.
Bins were finally put out last night before bed and DD1's Chameleon "Kiwi" was moved position in the front room. She is now in front off the condemned gas fire so that we can have the radiator on (if I ever get it working  ) I'm not happy with her being stuck halfway out into the room but she seems really happy. Moving around a lot and some lovely colours this morning.
I'm wondering if the unit with the printer (currently not working  ) on it could be moved and she could live there permanently
Right, off to find something to do that won't disturb DD2
Oh and FYI she had to sleep in my room last night as her bed was so covered in junk she hadn't bothered to put away. It will be done today ill or not or she'll be sleeping on the floor, ill or not!!

Morning all
Bit of a rushed school run but dd is at school and we got there on time. Need to speak to her teacher after school regarding her comment yesterday "I didn't do p.e as I was too shy to put on my kit". I'm just hoping she wasn't being stubborn and refusing. I don't mind actual shyness but I know my dd and she can be extremely stubborn. I didn't pick up yesterday as mum got her for me. She was last out which usually means the teacher wants a word with me. Ho hum, she only started in September!
Baby asleep, ds1 doing puzzles and watching CBeebies so going to do morning clear up then do the flying list. Ds1 can help with the leaf collecting.
So much going around at the moment wendywitch, just hope we don't go down with anything.
Catch up later0 -

Morning all,
Dismal day up here
At paid stuff a always but plans for after are a visit to the gym, trip to @sda for milk then home to flying. My living room is a bit of a mess at the minute due to a clear out I had over the weekend. I was clearing bags of fabric that had been in the loft/cupboard for a number of years and now that it's diminished there's threads and bits all over the floor. On the plus side it's earned me some extra pennies for decorating with more left to list.
Managed to complete yesterday's list (apart from moping the floor which I meant to remove but managed to miss). Floor is all dry and recovered from the leak, I think having a chipboard floor rather than lino is a great designer feature......
Best get back to it, have a good day all, hope you're warm and dry. Hugs to those who need or want them.

Morning
Just having a tea break from paid stuff. Boss man called in a panic this morning, lol, he said "I don't understand these numbers you've sent me, they are about a quarter of what I expected!" My reply was "they are weekly, not monthly, you need to add them not take an average" lol, much "phew"s and "ah"s heheh panic over...
MIL also called from Smyths - which dress does DD want for Xmas? So I took complete advantage of her location and gave her my shopping list! Lol. I'd been looking last night and there is a present for DD that is £10 cheaper there than anywhere else, plus they do cheapy little skateboards that DS has been hankering after too. Hurrah, saves me making a trip out today!
My living room is a tip and I need to sort the kitchen too. On my lunch break. Back to my lappy. Chilly today but I've filled a hot water bottle and it's currently behind my back in my office chair - feels lurvely!Bossymoo

Fly miracles have been committed here ladies!
I cleaned my kitchen windows!!:j
Please don't ask how this was done, I don't want Flylady health and safety on my back
I also cleared, de-junked and cleaned the windowsills obviouslyand wiped down the sides.
I have S&S'd the bathroom, which wasn't looking to bad anyway.
The Drum Major from DD2's drumming corps has just dropped round her new uniform trousers. The look on his face when I said she was in bed not feeling well _pale_
Remembrance Sunday and they're playing at the church so she's desperately needed. I'm sure she'll be fine by then.
Damn I forgot to change the time on the kitchen clock while I was up there
I'll do it now while I think about it and while I'm off to search for some pills, got a bit of a headache comingThen I'll have 5 minutes break while they kick in and DW load number 2 finishes.

I've seen the knitted ones on TV Mrs MP they do look lovely. I haven't seen anyone selling them yet - might pop into school office in case they have some.
Any tips on fastening them to smaller kiddies coats - not sure the pins are a good idea. Could find a tiny safety pin I suppose...Bossymoo

Food shopping done and put away, WM3 now squeezed on the line, I so hope it all dries as it is way too much for the airers.
Off to meet an old friend now for a catch up, we have a child each at the same uni (different years) which is odd as we know each other from before kids so 25 years ago! Meeting at a garden centre so I'll have a little browse whilst there. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
