You sound so focused at the moment CT and are achieving so much. I'm impressed as I was fit for nothing in the early weeks of pregnancy as was so tired!
Have you decided against your bathroom extension now then? Do you have other plans for the savings? Be a vice sum to throw at something.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

Thank you Jodles! Scan is next week and then I can relax a little more.
£100 paid off cc. I normally pay half that but I worked out I will have £600 left and if I pay £50 a week until Christmas. We will be debt free (except mortgage of course!).
Lounge and dining room painted and we have moved back into them. So nice not be living out of the only bedroom. Next room to attack is the bedroom. We can get back to the king bed and out of the cramped spare room :j
Savings are coming along nicely. On track to actually achieve this savings plan in the assigned time! Wonders will never cease.

Thank you LIL I will keep everyone posted on Monday!
Its the 1st of the month so mortgage has gone out! New figures show we are at £148,224 meaning we have knocked £973 off the total this month including our OP.
Interest is coming down nicely it is currently £10.18 a day which is fantastic compared to the over £28 it was this time last year before the interest rate change! If my calculations are right we should be under the £10 mark by January 2016.
I've just done my free credit report (must remember to cancel before the 30 days are up!) very interesting really, because I've applied for 0% cc twice in the last 6 months it's gone against me. Other than that all well in the world. It's just something to think about if you're planning to move house etc soon. Don't apply for cards in the 6 months beforehand. On the other hand the fact I had credit and paid on time was a positive for my score.
DH is on nights so painting of our room has ground to a halt. I think I need to accept we will be in the spare room forever!

I may look at getting a 0% credit card for when i start getting furniture now end of this month but some of the places i looked at offer 0% credit for a year
Id rather keep the cash i have than give it all over in one hit hahaMortgage--- [STRIKE]£67700 March 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65221 April 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64983 July 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£64780 sept 15[/STRIKE] Remortgage [STRIKE]£67295 oct 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£66599 Nov 15[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£65878.73 Dec 15[/STRIKE][STRIKE] £64834 1st Jan 16[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Feb 16 £64,511.89[/STRIKE][STRIKE] March 16 £64,056.40[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]April 16 £62550[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]May 16 £62,396.20[/STRIKE] Feb 17 £60.800

Congrats on the pregnancy!
Hope all the DIY/house work goes well - we'e got unfinished projects everywhere you look as we went great guns last year (first year of ownership) and this year we've been busy/lazy.Need to step it up so that we can actually cross things off the list.

Quarterly update time...
From New Years plans
Financial
- To OP £6000 revised to £4800 we are bang on track with £4000 paid to date 83.3% done in 9 months.
- To build an emergency fund of £2000 revised to £4500. Very behind schedule.
- To save and extend bathroom. Saving COMPLETE. We decided not to extend but replace bathroom instead.
Personal
- To lose 21lbs revised to 32.5lbs after gaining some weight and realising the whole lots needed to go not just a little bit. I had lost 17.5lbs but not losing weight now everything has changed
Work
- To complete a project for work by the summer. COMPLETED! However now an ongoing piece of work which needs maintaining and improving. Our ward is up for reassessment shortly so fingers crossed we maintain our high ranking.
New plan in place for emergency fund. Save like mad (as always) for all the things we need to do. Aim is to have it done by the time I'm 33 weeks. That is cot, pram, house renovations, new car to fit car seat, carpet, mat money etc. Then from then until I give birth save for emergency fund. With everything else achieved we should be able to get half of it together before my wage reduces.
