Returned from a beautiful week away in Cornwall on Saturday, we had some really lovely weather. I even got a little bit of sunburn (nothing serious and only where my top and zip up weren't covering) one day when we did a cliff walk. Had friends over for lunch on Sunday and now it's back to reality. DH has work today, I have one more day off but it will be used to do food shop etc.

Looks like a glorious day today so maybe I will fit a walk in. I've checked the accounts and we a little low on funds but should make it through until Thursday when DH gets paid (yay for bank holidays bringing it forward!).

I've caught up with all the diaries now. I hope everyone is well.

Knocking a month off your term is brilliant. Spreadsheets are so motivating to see how much you need to OP to knock a month off. Well done!

Agreed. You need to see the end result of the hard work.

£200 added to the extension fund. It's a slow week, DH just earned basic because we were away last week.

We have a wedding today but in true MS manner I have borrowed a dress from a friend, using shoes I already had and a friend is going to collect us because it miles away and we do this for each other to save on taxis/ hotels. Now just need money for drinks and a wedding gift.

Wedding yesterday was brilliant. So nice catching up with all the in laws and having fun. It ended up being a very cheap night my father in law or DHs uncles wouldn't let DH or me buy anything at the bar so spent £30 which was present! It's nice when you get these little treats in life.

Had a play on the mortgage calculators and by my estimates our LTV is 65.5% at the moment based on the last three sales on my road in the last two months. Which is a lovely bump up of £50,000. I think we just bought at the right time before it started to get a little silly round here. I believe due to a combination of the army moving out, a restaurant complex being built and a regeneration projects funding being secured. It makes our plan of moving out to a slightly nicer area that bit closer.

Nice relaxing day today nothing special, then work tomorrow on the ward and roast dinner at home on Monday so I'm hoping our money will be safe this weekend!

I hope everyone's having a nice weekend and enjoying the time off.
