Thanks Cath. Did you find how to get to the thread?
I'm slowly plodding on. My tax rebate cheque no. 1 has cleared in my bank. Im not adding it to savings though, I'm keeping it aside for final part of dentistry. The other cheque hasn't arrived so will wait until the end of the week then chase that.
This week DH and I have bought lunches in every day, I'm off thur and fri so I've definitely achieved a week, fingers crossed DH can do tomorrow and then we can say for the first time ever we have achieved a week!
I'm doing a baby shower for a friend at the end of March. Previous baby showers we have take mum to be out for lunch but I suggested afternoon tea at mine and everyone be in charge of something (Sandwiches, cakes, scones, decorations). I thought that would cost less per person and easier to get to for all of us. So I've been bargain hunting some decoration on eBay. I've decided rather than banners etc I'm going to make a small arch out of blue and white balloons and make some rain drop out of thread and paper to hang from it. It's something I've seen on Pinterest which looks like a bit of fun. I'm borrowing some teacups etc from my Mam and making it all pretty. I'm actually very excited you can probably tell from my name I love a good cream tea!

Nice one on lunches. I've done every day since my New Years resolution bar one this week were I totally forgot it!
Try bunting for baby shower then it can be used in baby's bedroom after :-) it's a bit of a pain to make though!0 -
I've been making lunches and staying away from the chocolate machine the last few weeks. Saves a fortune......especially for a chocoholic like me!
And skipping nice coffees in work. I do miss a mocha though!Mortgage balance Feb 2015 start of MFW Journey-£245316.06/Aim to be mortgage neutral 2022 — Target for May 2024 14 Year Target Balance MF50 = £89,535 — Mortgage Balance £106, 000—Target for May 2024! £89,535

Ourcornercottage and Sque I think it's the way forward. My problem is sticking to it!
Pay day today! All account buffers topped up. £50 off one CC and £25 off other. Set to OP £400 of mortgage. A little bit squirrelled away for holidays. £500 added to extension fund. Not bad! Although not the £700 odd we wanted. We are still half on track.

Hoping to have enough to start it at the end of March. DH is doing a lot himself so I have my fingers crossed it may come under budget (if that happens I am aware it will probably be the first time in history construction has come under budget. So not holding my breath.) I will be in charge of tea making and bacon sandwiches.
My curtains I ordered online arrived nicely lined but were too long and had cheap looking header with the eyelets so I changed size added stiffener (buckram) and new eyelets and they look beautiful. Now to buy a curtain pole. I only realised when I was finished we've never had curtains in that room so one more thing for the shopping list! Now with the material I cut off I would like to make cushion covers, which I've never done before. I think a job for next week.

Great work CT I really need new curtains for living room as I still have previous owners ones up but its 5 windows and a door to do so that's gonna be very expensive. Granny curtains stay for me!
I could possibly try making them but I'd probably muck it up!0
