Also paid another £54 off the CC yesterday when I realised it was spare money we didn't need that week.

I have sat down and done lots of calculations, as we all know one of my favourite pass times. Here's our plan to achieve our goals:
1)Extension fund completed by end March - £740 a week for the next 5 weeks.
2) CC's paid by August - £85 a week until end of August.
3) 3 month emergency fund - £148 a week until end August
The extension goal could be a push although, DH's nights look like they will continue through March. If that's the case we will comfortably achieve it.
The CC's and emergency fund will definitely be comfortable because once the extension is saved for, we will throw all the money at these two areas.
I also worked out DH bike payments (which I always forget in any calculation because it comes from DH account not joint account) will be done by July, which is another £170 a month we will be better off!
I know life is tight now with the big push but by the summer we will be in a very, very different financial position. No CC, no bike repayments, extension complete, and we will have a 3 month emergency fund! We won't recognise the way it is now!
Now just off to survive the next 5 weeks! I think I need to revive January's religious meal planning and the freezer inventory.

CTSold a few more bits on eBay so £20 off the CC. Had a little lull this week. I think the excitement of the last few month money saving has caught up with me and now I've run out of things to change! I need to inject some more excitement and enthusiasm. Any ideas?
In none MSE news DH has asked me to take 5 days off over my 30th bday June 2016. He won't say why but I'm really excited now. I'm not sure I can last 16 months.
