Great news from Babafette and Kadison (very different, but both to be celebrated:D)

I have UU's 23ml Akin Rosehip Oil UU 21.11.14 and 3ml Dior Ultimate Wrinkle Correction Crème UU 21.11.14 Rosehip Oil is a HG for me, I have one Akin to follow on with. 3ml was not enough of the Dior for me to form an opinion, but WNBA because of price.

The lines on my face have become very pronounced in the last few weeks, yesterday it dawned on me that when my allergy? outbreak was prolonged I had to cut down and only use a few very safe products on my face, for some reason when I finished a tube of Hydraluron I didn't start the next one:(:( and my skin had become very dehydrated, it does look a little better, but I have to get used to seeing myself with wrinkles, at my age there is only so much I can do, and I am shy of more hard core solutions. When I was young SPF was not around and a lot of the damage would have occurred in my teens and twenties. I am going to wear more eye make up to distract from them, and I might do a Mrs Beckham and not smile:(:(:rotfl::rotfl:

More eye makeup as you get older is definitely the way to go. Our eyes fade in colour and sort of recede with age so mascara, a mauve ish eyeshadow if you are grey and some eyeliner brings them back into focus again. Lisa Eldridge does a stunning make over on a lady in her 70s on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-SZA1tkViU&list=TLkCfcxEY7NG4.

    Well worth a watch.

    I have 2 GA's:

    Loreal Casting Sunkiss Jelly 100ml
    Bed Head Small Talk 200ml

    Down to 65 products :o

Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.
  • Update: I found my volumising conditioner. It was hiding at the back of the cupboard. I KNEW I had one somewhere!

    Another UU for me:
Nutrogena nourishing foot cream WNBA. Still trying to find a foot cream I like (although the Body Shop intense lotion is quite nice) so just using up what I already have about the place. This one isn't really intense enough for the soles of my feet - although the tops are nice and soft!

And I only have one use left out of The Body Shop aloe vera night cream WNBA. Quite expensive (to me!) for a tiny pot and I much much much prefer their Tea Tree night lotion. Although the aloe vera one is nice, and smells nice, and leaves my face soft. So if you have sensitive skin or prone to redness then give it a go!

  • Oooh quiet here today, working all day myself:-) but yey its my Friday and Saturday in one...still 3 day week next week:T:T
UU of Vaseline healthy hands and stronger nails hand cream, think I won this in a raffle seemed pretty good:money:
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • It is quiet today! I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend :)

I'm here to catch up with my UU list at last.

Aromatherapy Associates Light Relax (55ml) - WNBA. Even on sale this is too expensive. I'm glad that I've tried it and I love the glass bottle, which I will re-use with my own oil blend :D

Gazelli Triple Youth Ultimate Firming Serum (5ml) - really lovely to try but too expensive for me.

A S London candle (mini) - WNBA. It didn't throw enough scent. I have another one to UU (it came in a beauty advent calendar)

Therapie Bath Salts (100g) - these are crazily expensive but I'm so glad I had a chance to try them. They worked! I really struggle to sleep and these knocked me out (against all expectations). I'm interested in making my own version.

REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Cream (50ml) - WMBA (in a sale or on offer) as I really enjoy using this.

Yankee Candle votive in Beach Walk - WMBA. Scent was nice but not as strong as I'd like (maybe because I kept it too long?)

Bliss Triple Oxygen Energizing Cream (50ml) - yippee!! I'm so glad that this has gone! I had such high expectations for this but it made my face oily and red. So disappointing so I used it up on my neck. A real LHJ.

Decleor Aroma Cleanse Tonifying Lotion (400ml) - a happy LHJ! Beautiful scent, very gentle. WBA on a special offer. Great value as it lasted for ages and didn't go off. (I've almost finished the matching cleanser which I'd also BA)

Nick Lowe Age Correct Eye Serum (15ml) - WMBA as it was very effective. Not as good as my favourite Decleor or Clinique eye creams but much cheaper.

I'm not sure that I'm going to have many more UUs this month (expect the Decleor cleanser). I've switched to using an Origins Make A Difference Plus set so I can see if it's something to look out for in the Jan sales. I'm very happy with the products so far (a couple of weeks in) - my skin is clear and calm but it may all go pear shaped once my hormones shift through their cycle.

I'm trying to use up the bulk of my herbal tea stash as well as my candles now! :rotfl: I don't want to have any left by the end of Winter (except my regulars: red bush; ginger and lemon; mint; maybe a chai and maybe a green tea)

I've painted my nails with my fave red - Nails Inc Tate (I bought Glamour to get a new bottle as my original bottle is low).

I've got some bourgeois healthy mix barely used - too yellow toned for me
And l'oreal true match that I've used 3 times - am I the only person that it turns in to a grease ball

Superdrug have 3 for 2 on cosmetics but I was restrained and just got what I needed
Revlon colour stay in ivory - doesn't turn me in to an oil slick
It's not as nice as my illamasqua but illamasqua is my special occasions foundation as it's £32. Colour stay not as nice but £12
Barry m waterproof mascara- hadn't quite finished my old one but I've chucked the end of it as I think it must have gone off as I got an eye infection.
Maybelline age rewind concealer. Half way through one at the mo but I might as well buy on 3 for 2 as I will def use it. Love that stuff

I have also bought a new electric toothbrush this month as half price. Love it but it's killing my gums at the mo as my old toothbrush must have got crappy.

Am trialling anatomically no old bags allowed but I did need one as my old eye cream is nearly done.

I popped into Boots yesterday and saw the Champneys 1/2 price spa set, the case is very pretty, I made sure DH knew I did not want it under any circumstances.

    I also have a uu

Clinique Take The Day Off 100ml - WBA, this lasts a long time and is very effective.

  • Last UUs for the month I think:

Nivea Soft & Gentle deodorant: WBA
Waitrose baby bottom butter: WBA, absolutely lovely and sinks into the skin without feeling greasy. A little goes a long way.

    INs:

    Cotton wool pads
    Waitrose baby bottom butter
