I cannot believe that another month has passed, almost a whole year too:eek:

    Here is the December thread

city_girl - if you love the Chanel CC cream it is worth the money as it saves you trying loads of other things which don't work. Hope you get on with your hair soon, my hair went curly of it's own accord and I finally stopped battling with it at the beginning of this year, I can now style it easily but it took ages to find out what worked.

    I have another uu

Leighton Denny Remove & Go - this is the nail polish in a pot with a sponge that you dip your fingers into, I have been using it regularly all year so it is :money: but I did struggle with my thumbs as they squished the sponge down and I couldn't push them in any further iyswim.

It is DD's birthday on Wednesday and for her birthday we went to the Harry Potter studio tour yesterday, it is a long drive down and back to Yorkshire all in a day but it was well worth it even to me and I've only ever seen one film the whole way through, really great to see the real sets and costumes, DD is a huuuuge fan and she totally loved it.

Evening ladies. This month has flown by.
    Sorry Sundaygirl for your loss.

I really wish I had the willpower to not buy things. Since I've been doing this I've been buying more than ever before because I keep wanting all the beauty boxes!
    ARGH.
This is my exact problem, I love MeMe boxes a bit too much. I have even started to find new products to use, I seem to like face masks and sheet mask, I find them very calming.

Is everyone resisting the black friday sales? I deleted loads of e-mails without looking, but have ordered a HG of LE Skin Tonic, 20% reduction, free P&P and they added a 30ml of C&P, it is for stock as I have half a bottle left, but I really love it:D
I am glad to see that you resisted;)
I did not:D, 2 meme boxes, 9 bottles of shampoo (BS glitch) and an order from a small hand made body products company and 6 candles later. The thing is it is cyber Monday tomorrow and there will be offere there aswell. I will just make myself comfortable on the naughty step.

    UU's
Glam glow 15ml WBA I love this product but will never buy it full price, I have a few more tubes from beauty boxes.

Lavender sugar sugar scrub 50g WMBA I liked it but it is made by an American company and postage is very expensive.

Peeling herb pack WNBA a strange product from5 a meme box. It was like using dust to clean yourself with. A very useful product if you like cleaning bathrooms as it creates a greyish tint to anything in a 2 metre range but totally useless as a scrub.

Mango sticky rice body butter WBA loved it.

Sylph body whip WNBA fine but there are other scents I prefer.

Murad pore and line minimising hydrator
10ml WNBA not sure I can comment on it pore or line minimising ability as I used it on my feet as all I could smell was mint and I hate the scent. It smelt like a foot cream so I used it as acoordingly.

Caudalie anti-wrinkle protect fluid WMBA nice enough, sunk in quickly and hydrated my skin.

Hair mask WNBA bought from pound land and found it great for shaving but it did not seem to do anything for my hair. It did smell of apricots which was pleasant.

penguin bubble bar WNBA don't like the scent

Spell bubble bar (not lush) WBA stand up to lush in quality and well scented.

Shoot for the stars bath ballisitc WBA

Sheet mask WBA I find them really relaxing ( I may have ordered a few about 24 if I remember correctly)

Delarom acquacomfort mask WNBA prefer others

    Sunshire bath ballisitc WNBA

TA a volcanic face mask that my skin really did not like.
  • Sundaysgirl - I'm so sorry to hear about your guinea pig :( It's terrible to lose a creature that you have such a strong bond with. I still miss my cat very much - she was 'chatty' and would be happy to see me, just like your lovely guinea pig was. Hugs to you. Xx

I can't believe that it's December tomorrow. November has gone by in a blur and I'm afraid I haven't kept up with the thread (or much else!) very well. At least I have a few good UUs to report before we get going on the new thread (thanks maddiemay for starting the December thread already :))

Weleda Pomegranate Body Oil (100ml) - WBA. Possibly my HG body oil as I love the smell and how it softens my skin. It's fortunate that I still love it as I have 4 or 5 bottles in stock (!) I bought them up v cheaply on eBay after they'd been in a beauty box.

Jonathan Ward More Wine Vicar candle (mini) - WNBA. Not strongly scented enough.

Jelly Belly/Wax Lyrical Tangerine candle (tin) - I bought this for £1 in Tesco (no idea why it was £1) and loved it. It burnt evenly and had a strong scent. Wish I'd bought more but I'm trying to stop doing things like that :rotfl:

Decleor Aroma Cleanse Cleansing Milk (400ml)- the other half of the toner I finished earlier in the month. Lovely stuff. Gentle but effective. Prob my HG cleansing milk. WBA once I'm through my remaining cream cleansers/milks. Hopefully I'll find it in the giant bottle and on sale again ;)

Clarins Hydra Quench Cream Gel (15ml) - v disappointed with this. I thought it'd be perfect for my skin but it left it reddened. Used up on my neck and WNBA.

Korres Chamomile soap - WNBA. I love Korres but this soap disintergrated really quickly but then took forever to UU  A LHJ that I'm glad is done!

I will have one IN from the Black Friday sale - I bought the Origins Ginger Essence perfume set from JL as it was 20% off and with a good sized shower gel and body souffle included. I love the Ginger scent and I've almost finished my first bottle. It lasts for two years as I only use it during the Autumn/Winter. The other Origins sets that I was hoping to pick up in the sales have already sold out :(

See you all over on the December thread :)

    Now to update my Outs!

UU – Eyeko – Hydrogel Eye Patch Sachets
Very strange feeling at first but once I got used to them being on they were fine and I did notice a difference after I took them off. Only issue I had was that I wasn't entirely sure which way round they went. There were peely off bits on both sides but I wasn't 100% sure which side went on the skin!

UU – Herbal Essences – Ignite My Colour Shampoo
Have another bottle so onto that now. Just got my roots redone so definitely need to keep up with the colour products!

TA – FCUK – Polished Whipped Body Cream
Smelled a little funny and tbh I never used the damn thing anyway. Chucked.

UU – Loreal – Skin Perfection
Took me a few days of using this sample to notice that it changed colour! Whoops. Was quite nice and would consider buying again in the summer if I can get my skin to calm down enough to use it as just a tinted moisturiser.
New to this money saving lark. Any tips greatly received.

:rotfl: I only ever "play" with my nail polishes when OH is out:rotfl:

The ones I liked were:- My Voice is a Little Norse (glitter); Do You Have This Color in Stock-holm (blue-violet) Mainly because I loved the effect on AY's nails of these two together. They are presently in by *bay watch list at a good price, I will leave them there for a while, in case I loose interest:D I am much better at avoiding the impulse buys these days:D There is a LD TSV soon, but again there are too many items I do not want, so will probably just try and find any colours that really appeal.

Feel Unique and a lot of the other internet beauty stores seem to do a £10 off every now and then, so it is worth keeping an eye open for them to top up on HG's I think.

Yes, live and learn with that one maddiemay.

I own both those colours that you like as I think the kit you mentioned was the AutoDelivery of the last TSV. My Voice is lovely although my favourite from the three is Thank Glogg It's Friday.

Have just called into Sallys to see if the Christmas colours were in stock and am loving a few of them. The OPI website has a Cyber Monday sale on and the new colours are reduced although I don't remember seeing any of the Nordic ones.

    Morning ladies.

    I have a uu

OPI Avoplex Oil - this seemed to work OK for my nails and cuticles, I have replaced it with an Avoplex to go, the last time I used it in this version it really dried out my cuticles which is weird seeing as it's the same stuff but in a tube.

I've found that the oil in the tube dries up quickly and the nozzle gets clogged. x

I keep meaning to go there. This time of year is a bonus as well as the Christmas decorations are up at Hogwarts, aren't they?
