Look forward to your update October, don't want to share my experiences on your diary but I have had a big run in with management of my employer which lead to me taking it too the top and thus being moved to prevent reoccurrence of what I call discriminative behaviour so I want to say I understand a little of how you are feeling and I wish I had support to talk to someone about it so I'm glad you have this outlet to rant as you call it.

:j 5 DAYS TO GO!!
Soooo... I actually have a lot to tell you besides ranting about work. Question is where to start.. Hmm let's see..
Property viewing: OH and I went to see a one Bedroom flat last week. Well it was very nice, ground floor though. There was literally no storage to speak of and the carpets were all light cream. This wouldn't be an issue except just looking around, you could see where the people viewing it had come through patio doors (accross grass) and there were black marks all over. We went to get an idea of what we wanted. Well we learnt we want plenty of storage and a decent place to put washing when drying indoors (again no airing cupboard and no window in the bathroom). It was good fun and helped us get a good idea of things.
Chores: So straight after that we went home. OH is very poorly (more on that later). He sat at his computer and I turned into Lilty for a little bit. I changed my bed, did three loads of washing, hoovered throughout, did all the dishes, sorted and rearranged some furniture, got rid of loads of rubbish and made a start on my sewing project :T
Sickness: So OH has never really got rid of a cough he had. Well this past week he got bad again, coughing, temperature, sore throat, the works. I have been trying so hard not to get it but unfortunately it was inevitable. I am not as bad as he is though and I am taking four doses of cough medicine a day, loads of throat losenges and ibroprofen which I am not supposed to take but it is working a treat. My main thing is to keep it out of my nose and off my chest. So far so good. OH is coughing so bad he makes himself sick. He won't let me call 111 though or take him to the doctor as he thinks he is getting over the worst of it. I am giving him a stronger all in one medicine. We both take shots of medicine at the same time because they both taste foul and it makes it easier knowing the other is suffering too LOL :rotfl:.
Work: Well you are pretty up to date on that one as I had my massive rant. I am glad I did because honestly, it really helped. I am doing my job but I am also now clearing things. Making sure I delete any files, emails etc. I want to leave everything clear when I go. I am also trying to put a folder of useful items together for the moron. Not because I want to help him but it will make it easier on my staff in the long run. I am very nervous about the future but with the help of this forum I have managed to save over £1000 to help me get through and I have loads of tools to help me keep costs as low as possible.
EeeEee: I am livid with these people. I wish we had never signed up with them. After the 4/5 hours in their shop which resulted in me being off work with a chest infection, they haven't got any better. In the shop they went over what I spend the most on with my contract. It was picture messages (I thought they were free). She then told us that they would be free on this new contract but even then, I have been reluctant to use them. So the first bill came alone and we paid it. Two weeks later we got another one. I called them and explained I wouldn't have the money to pay for it at the time they wanted. They agree to cancel my DD for that month and I could pay by debit card on payday which I did. So this month there was an extra £3.90 on our bill which I couldn't understand as we hadn't gone over our limits. I decided to just pay it but then they didn't take the DD. I rang them up yesterday and I was charge £3.50 for paying by Debit card and that my DD had been cancelled!! So I told them what had happened and that the woman I had spoken to before had told me about no extra costs or that the DD was completely cancelled. So she agreed to refund the £3.50 but not the 40p that was for a picture message!! I said they were free now and she said they weren't. Grrrr. So then we had to pay the bill again by Debit card as the DD wouldn't take effect till next month. So I didn't have mine on me so OH gave me him... OMG.. I said, I was paying by his and that he was on the account as he is the secondary phone user. "I'm sorry there is no record of him and I will need his permission to be able to process the payment". He was sat next to me. I just handed him the phone. The woman couldn't have been more irritating if she had tried. So now I am waiting to see if I am going to be charged another £3.50 next month for using a debit card.
Finances: Well I made lunch for today and tomorrow. I need to get some more ham for Weds, Thurs and Fri. My loan repayment came out so I am getting closer and closer to being under 4k! :j £4264.96. I can't make overpayments except to pay it off early so I am trying to keep as much of my savings as possible but without work it will be difficult as I will need the redundancy money and savings to pay the bills. Need to work out my budget this month. I know I have the dentist at some point but I have forgotten when and it's not on my new phone's calander
E of Bay: The next week or two I am going to go through absolutely everything in my flat and sell everything on E of Bay. I am also going to try and make small sewing projects and try and sell them too. I want to bring in some money even if it is only a tiny amount. The less I spend of my savings the better.
Broken things: So my car is literally being held together with ductt tape. Before I went to DM's someone must have hit my wing mirror with a lot of force. They almost took it off totally and cracked the back casing. We have taped it back on. My passenger door handle is coming off, we taped that on. My suspension is shot and I am going to need to get that replaced. I think I need new breakpads and there are issues with the clutch. None of these things can be fixed as I just don't have the money. My laptop decided not to start. I think the fan is on the blink so OH thinks if he takes it apart and cleans it out we might get somewhere. If not it will be a trip to a computer expert. If that costs too much then no more laptop and I will just have to use OH's computer.
I think that is everything!! Sorry it is such a big update. It has been so busy and stressful at work that it has been hard to get on. I will catch up today and hopefully things will be calmer from now on.. :rotfl:
Have a great day everyone and as always, thank you for your support.

Hi October. (I've just dropped my phone on my face trying to reply, lying down with one eye closed). Despite your troubles with ee ee and illness and the ongoing drama at work, your post sounds really up beat and determined.
Thank you for your message on my diary, will reply to yours fully and post on mime when I'm not so tired.
I'm going to have a mini celebration for you on Friday! :T:rotfl:
Take care. MrsT0 -
heres is take two of my post -
October sounds like you have the planning down to a tee,
How lovely to be able to go and flat hunt and work out what would be suitable before making a big move I wish I had done something simular then I wouldn't have chosen beige carpets for my hall and bedroom as you have posted you can see all the traffic on the carpet - I suppose the only bonus of this is it does make me hoover a lot more frequently then I probably would have done if I couldn't see the dirt on the carpet - I am doing well so far and its only a hall and small bedroom as the lounge is wooden.
Sounds like you are turning into Lilty with your cleaning spree please pass on whatever you have been eating or drinking onto me as I could do with some motivation...
Boo to the sickness I am sending you virtual vibes to ward off those pesky bugs - I know how it is for bugs to get to you and wipe you out - any cold I get goes straight to my ears and my throat and gives me laryngitus which is great when I work in a customer facing job - hopefully it passes quickly
Friday will be here soon and you can walk away with your head held high and saying you will appreciate what you have got when its gone and close the door with the biggest slam you can on your way out, singing at the top of your voice - IM FREEEEEEEE
I had to laugh about your comments about EeeEe as have had my own issue with them in the past and I did what you have done but I managed to get out of my contract that they said would be cheaper for me within the first month when I went in and complained when my bill went up stupidly high the month after I (changed).... erm though I had changed to save me money... My suggestion is to keep going and if you don't get anywhere with the branch in person fire of a email to them - then keep sending the same email each week by fowarding it till you get a result a few seconds work for you but highly annoying for them to keep getting the same email. if weekly doesn't work guess what go for daily :0)
Bank head on here if you have been charged for the failed DD by the bank then get EEEEE to repay your fee...
YAY for getting within a sniffing distance of 4k mark you are sooo nearly there, the phycological relief you will feel when you get there will be great when you see that figure on paper/screen keep at it... and well done for thinking ahead and planning to budget how MSE of you it must be rubbing off on us all
Well done for getting rid of all the stuff you class as junk and passing it on to someone else who may not see it as junk - its amazing how much some people pay for something you were planning to chuck out or donate - word of warning for you I have had a fair few buyer open cases with me for items that don't match description!! i believe these are the buyers who also open up cases for undelivered items too when they are in possession of the items, I alleviate this issue by sending all my items recorded regardless of size - this way they can't say its not been delivered and bay of E side with me - although just thinking I did have a few that did say it never arrived as they changed their address after I sent the item so if you do sell anything take a snap shot of the postage address to makes sure they don't change the address afterwards if anything seems too good to be true... Good luck with the sewing projects - I have made a few pennies selling coins i have collected as people seem to pay over the odds for them - crazy fools -
Ah I now see what you mean when you have posted on Lilty diary that you have broken your car - definitely car is broken and is being held together by anything and everything maybe minus sticky back plastic - good luck with keeping it all attached, fingers crossed that your laptop is just asleep and will wake up and behave real soon...
I think that as you have had such a busy first day of the month - the rest of it will be plain sailing - heres hoping for you....
