    Hi October

Hope last 2 days go well for you. Sausage and mash sounds yummy.

You don't appear to be a lazy sort of person, stay positive and focused. You can do it. Go girl. Keep popping on here for positive thoughts - think I would take any job just to keep my head above water for time being.

    Good luck x

I think if you focus on list 2, the worries of list 1 will eventually fade into the background.
Have you considered volunteering? It's brilliant. A) it keeps you busy B) it is very rewarding to be doing something completely different C) a stint of volunteering will pad out the gap in your CV between jobs.
It may be something to look at. It may also help you to develop and branch out your skills so you potentially consider applying for jobs you hadn't considered before.
I think you would definitely benefit from it.

I spent one christmas day a couple of years ago helping out at the local community centre serving christmas lunches to the elderly and lonely locals. It was something I've always wanted to do, and it was the most satisfying christmas ever.

I love your lists and the fact that you write them! -ALWAYS- write your worry lists down, it helps you and it gives us a chance to tell you they are silly :) As you know, I could worry for a gold medal at the Olympics so I am the first to understand how those thoughts can over take at times but as you seem so organised and aware of the things you DON'T want, it will be easy for you to just be the things you DO want to be and I don't think any of those things you are worrying about will take over you - you simply won't let them because you are too aware of them (if that makes sense).

And if you find yourself slipping, because you wrote it all down, you can always re-visit it to remind yourself - another great reason to get it down "on paper" as it were. I need to start making more to-do lists on my thread and maybe worry lists too as it will help me to remember the things I worried about and why I needn't have bothered when I look back over time!

    Anyway..above all .:j ONE DAY LEFT!:D

How did today go with rubbish boss visit?

Lists are a great thing, and AleMrsT is totally right, focus on list 2 and list 1 will sort itself out :)

Just make sure you keep spilling the beans on here and we will help all we can!! :D x

  • LAST DAY!!! :j

Been awake since 5am. Took OH to work. Man there is NOTHING on tv at that time of the morning. Just about ready to go and do my final shift. Am I sad? Not really.. Hahaha :rotfl:

I think that the job has been awful. I've learnt a lot and I know that I need support to do the best I can for a company. Without that support, I burn out.

Here's to the future everyone! Have a fantastic day xx

Enjoy your last day! And whilst the job may have been horrible, it's all experience on your CV and as you say you've learnt things about yourself.
