  • I had salad with a jacket potato, beans and cheese and OH just had two jackets with beans and cheese. I was going to make steak pie but the steak didn't defrost lol.

Thank goodness for back up meals, huh?

Are you having a good evening?

  • So this morning has not been all that productive in the grand scheme of things but I have put another load of washing on, sorted out a few things and put the dishwasher on. Still sitting in a mess but needed to shower.

Looking forward to tonight's dinner. I am making a steak pie with roasted vegetables and sprouts. I really want to start baking some things too but as I haven't done my allocated job hunting yet and I want to get my flat organised too. Hobbies after essentials.

Speaking of which, I am going to get on with my applications.
    Wish me luck!

Blimey girl, as you're ill just take the day to rest. Nothing will spoil if you rest until tomorrow. You deserve a couple of days breather to rest after working so hard for so long, you don't want to burn out. I know you're keen to get cracking, but don't be so hard on yourself on your first day of freedom.

Hi HM, welcome to join, I think there is going to be plenty of food.

Thanks Mrs T. I am trying to start as I mean to go on. I know I am sick but I am trying to beat the lazy girl that resides inside me. I stayed in bed too long today.

I have been have strange dreams or nightmares frequently to the point that it wakes me up most nights. Last night's dream was that I was working for my old employer (the one before last). My old manager told me that the grass wasn't greener and that I would soon want to come back. I hated that place as much as this one if I am honest.

I encouraged one of my staff to apply and she got the job. She will be amazing in that role and it will suit her far better than the one she is in (She was in the fast line to being fired by the new management.)

In my dream I was miserable and the staff were all laughing at me, calling me a failure. This is just many of the weird dreams I have lately. It's so much fun.

I have applied to 4 more jobs today. Fingers crossed, I get something.

Here was me popping in to see how your first day of being a lady of leisure has been and you put me to shame!! Good luck with the applications!! :D

Try and find a bit of time for yourself too :) Even if you just allocate 15 minutes to it.. :) whilst watching rubbish TV. It really helps!!

Hope you are feeling better today. You've been more productive than me. I've got a clean kitchen and the first load of washing going round right now. I've taken the bins out... and done a bit of shopping but forgot real milk and bought 10 litres of soya..:o But I spent hours in bed between 10am and 12:30pm  naughty!

Hope you have a productive afternoon flower :) xx
