Glad you feel better for writing it all down. That is why there are so many successful diaries on here. Everyone finds them therapeutic and it is a collective family of knowledge, support, calm and excitement everyone is always here when you need them. Unless of course they go awol because they are feeling far too under height and a bit stalked

Hello my lovelies

Appologies for the lack of communication the last few days. I can't say it has been busy but it most definitely been a bit of an emotional roller coaster. 100% because of work. The new area manager had to be put down a peg or two as he was getting me mistaken with one of his staff and I am most definitely not his staff. I think he is now convinced after meeting me that I am in no way threatened or resentful of him. I am happily working with him for a smooth cross over and that if he treats me with respect we will get along just fine.

Otherwise.. blah to work. Lots of cramps at the moment so finding it hard to get on with things. V day tomorrow.. Romantic plans include... snuggling up in bed and watching tv :rotfl:. I have been considering cooking a nice dinner... hmm..

OH was such a good boy on Wednesday. He was helping me with washing and dishes and clearing out the rubbish :eek:. No complaints either or nagging involved. Was soooo nice to not have to do it all myself. I am trying to get everything together for my visit to DM on Monday. I decided to take Monday as a holiday. Got someone to cover me and my boss is now trying to drag his heels.. :mad: I will get my way LOL.

Money saving isn't going well. I haven't been making my lunches and I haven't had any NSDs. I did spend a lot of OH's money Wednesday though :rotfl:.

At some point before Monday I need to fix my car. The door handle on the passenger side has come away and wehave tried superglue, duct tape and now I am going to try nooo more nails. After that, I give up. The car is slowly falling to pieces. I need to put air in the tires too as they are a bit spongy. Need to find out what air pressure they should be.. I am so useless with cars.

Anyway lovelies.. Must dash as still a million things to do!

Not going until Monday. I am excited and nervous as OH's first time coming to my house and staying under the same roof as DM. I know it is silly but he is also going to be seeing the childhood stuff that is in my room. Almost like introducing him to another version of myself so a little nervous about that.

My car is quite literally driving me batty. The noo more nails didn't work either. DM helpfully told me I needed to take it to the garage to get it fixed but that wont happen before I go up north to see her.. grrrr....

Ahh well... more duct tape required... hehe

Haha OMG... I remember taking Him home for the first time. We had been together for... 3 years. Jellytot was a week old.. :rotfl: that was seriously nerve wracking.

Re the car... I honestly have no clue. I am a DIY bodge it and scarper. It usually works... but I have to be there to have these ingenious ideas...

Oooh homemade loveliness :rotfl:

Currently homemade is finding the glue to fix a picture frame Jellytot has broken in half! Has one of my favourite pictures in it. I can't just leave it!!

I only went and did it I sent a message and I am hoping it will help my situation. The first message I sent this week helped another situation I have had for so many years and now I am going to be rid of it eventually. That is a huge weight lifted. So I am hoping the second one does the same and life can return a bit more to normal. Now to figure out the work situation and if that goes well... then I will be happy!

Today I have to go shopping to find something nice to cook for dinner. Him is coming for Valentines dinner we don't really *do* Valentines. But tomorrow is 6 years since we started our relationship so better mark it somehow.

Whenever i've needed to do blue-peter style repairs to my car I found an excellent product called miliput (amazon, about £5).. you mash two types of adhesive putty together and then use it to stick whatever it is you're sticking on.. hold it tight for a couple of mins and then it's ROCK SOLID.. for.. ever! i used it to repair aerial on my car about 3 years ago and it's still solid as a rock despite all weathers, car washes, everything. might be worth a try! they do all colours too so you can get whichever one stands out least i used black. xx

Good grief am I tired!!!

Serves me right for staying up half the night. I have been so busy today at work. Nothing fun or interesting though. Mostly doing things for the new manager. I feel like a PA rather than a manager in my own right. Ahh well. Only 3 more weeks to go and I am off for most of next week!!!

I hope everyone is having a lovely valentine's day. Even if you aren't doing anything.
