Hey October,
Just dropping by and catching up. I am so glad everything is well with your friend. Such good news.
It's terrible having to wait for news like that. When I was pregnant with little dude I'd had my first scan and around a week later after some routine bloods they said I had to go in right away for another scan..... the right away ended up being the next day and I was such a nervous wreck. Everything turned out well though, thank god.
Hope the birthday celebrations are going wellJanuary 2015 - LBM

Hello Lovelies
Well... I am having to do the walk of shame... My night out consisted of a private table, a bottle of vodka (not all for myself), refillable coke and lemonade and a massive clam shell with a champagne cocktail in it. However, I was not drinking as I was being designated driver. I have plenty of coke and lemonade and we had cocktail vouchers so I had three virgin cocktails too.. How much did it cost me...??? £1!!!! For car parking!! My friend (birthday girl) paid for it all. It only cost her.. £15! She works at the club so they gave her massive discounts and her hubby gave her £20 for her night out!!
Unfortunately.. The next day wasn't so good. We went to a food festival and I ended up spending £15.50!! I also spent £5.00 on OH as we went for drinks with my friend. I also...:o bought new phone cases for OH and I as ours were getting shabby. They were supposed to be a valentine's pressy but I couldn't wait.
On the plus side.. DM gave me £100 this month as OH and I are travelling to see her just after Valentine's weekend and she wanted to contribute towards petrol.Still a very spendy weekend and I have had to spread it over my budgets.
Yesterday I found out I won £3.20 on the lotto so I used it to buy my two tickets for this week so they only cost me 80pWas a busy bee last night and did all the dishes and made a batch of Spag Bol for dinner and one for the freezer. It is weekly shop time and I haven't decided what meals we are having this week. Thinking I should make my list and do my budget.
Hope you are all ok, I am going to catch up with your diaries.
October xx
PS. I'm not liking this white stuff on everything, I had to wipe it all off my car this morning and I am sure I must have looked like a snowwoman by the time I had finished :rotfl:0 -
Hey October your night out sounds amazing. Although.. birthday girl is pregnant birthday girl?! With all that champagne & vodka!? rather her than me as vodka seriously messes my system up. When I was early stages of pregnancy I had no idea and went on a night out which consisted of an extreme dose of jaegerbombs and stuff. Felt guilty for ages!!
I am very jealous of the club VIP stuff though. Must have been amazing!! Especially for £1.
As for a food festival... I think you did well to only spend that much!! I have seen people spend that on a jar of honey :rotfl: - what did you get?! Anything nice?
Yay to winning the lottery!! I need to start putting it on more often. I always forget until after half 7 :rotfl: I would do it today but that would make it a spend day and I worked very hard yesterday organising myself so that I didn't spend today
Hugs to you! You must need another weekend after your last onexx
It is currently snowing and hailing here... whilst the sun shines. Go figure. Can't get a handle on this weather. I am glad we don't have proper snow though!

P.S AleMrsT are you around?!?! I haven't finished my spreadsheet yet. I only managed 40 minutes lunch across 3 days last week but I should have plenty of time this week as most of my job is running quotes, printing, and creating packs for a huge new pension plan! xx

Hey October. So pleased everything is well with your friends pregnancy! Also didn't you say you'd put £20 or £25 aside for your night out? If you only spent £1 then even with your spends at the food festival you're under budget!Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
Current debt - £6,450.00

Still here lilt, thank you!! October sent me a very helpful copy of hers, which I'm currently filling in, so don't worry too much about it, especially if you're not getting full lunch breaks. Please don't spend your breaks sorting something for me.
EDIT - by the way Lilt, I've started reading through your diary, I have subscribed and will be continuing to catch up. Its lovely reading your stories of you and jellyWill post on your thread when I'm all fully caught up.
