They were good and appreciative of my the stale bread my friend had brought along to give them -- LL loves doing it and it's a nice simple free pleasure The only problem is our dog, he thinks the ducks (and the bread) are there to be chased and has been known to just launch himself into the lake not expecting it to be ice cold / deep! Had to pluck out a very soggy doggy on a couple of occasions so now he has to stay on the lead and is repeatedly told SIT, we're not throwing the bread for you! xx The geese can be a bit scary, LL is a bit wary of the ones taller than him walking around on the grass lol.

Just wanted to pop in and say 'HI', not caught up on anyone's diary for ages so I am now up to date and back on track Sounds like you had a lovely time with DM, there's always some little upset when visiting family, we had a good time at the in laws but we went to bed really early every night as it was so boring in the evenings!

Finally caught up!! Great news on the applications. The power of positive thinking. If all else fails, do what that bloke did and stand with CV's in a train station and a board explaining your qualifications got him a job fast!!

YNAB is my all-time hero. But if you can wait a couple of months then get the trial.. there is a July sale on Steam for 1 day only where it will be reduced MASSIVELY from what it costs. There was one a few weeks back. £7.99. I paid £29 :rotfl: still worth it!

I dont want to start my diary like this but I am in desperate need for a rant. I am soooo angry!

Here I am on my last week of working for this stupid company and they are treating me like their personal slave. Do this, Do that.. OH is really sick and despite me trying my best not to catch it, I think I am getting it too.

I told the replacement (He is NOT my manager although he likes to think he is!) that I was sick and if it was bad I might not be able to work the last week... know what he said....

Make sure you get cover. GRRRRRRRR. I nearly got up and left there and then. What a total... *BEEP**BEEP**BEEP**BEEP**BEEP**BEEP**BEEP**BEEP*.

I am struggling, working so hard to get loads of paperwork and things done so he doesn't have to do them and why?? Why am I doing this? I should be sat back enjoying the fact that I am finishing soon.

He is soooo patronising. He's been in the company 5 minutes and thinks because he has a promotion that he knows everything and I know nothing. I have worked in the company 4 years and in another company doing the same thing 6 years. 10 years experience. GRRR...

I am just so angry and I am angry at myself too. My pride is being bashed so much that I feel like I need to prove it to these morons that I can do my job and do it well. Why? I have proven it over and over again, they are just too stupid to see what they are losing.

He keeps saying things like-- "Well lets make sure you go out with a bang." It amazes me that I don't self destruct there and then. It's a good job he doesn't say things like that to my face otherwise I will be done for assault and battery. :rotfl:

Really though. This just keeps putting it out there to me why I am leaving. I am feeling so negative today that a customer actually asked me if I liked my job and I replied "No, that's why I am leaving on Friday.". :rotfl: That shocked her. LOL

Anyway, rant over. Will update you all properly in a moment.

I have had my own issues with others thinking they are higher then their status, keep head down Friday will come soon enough....

Lmao....!!! I am so proud of you!! For telling that customer that :rotfl: - perfect way to go out with a bang. Tell everyone what it is actually like!!

Now... I mean this! You do what you have to do so that you can walk out of there with your head held high. If that means you are busting a gut for the only person to know it to be you, then you do that because I know you will feel better if you walk out like that.

They will know.. VERY SOON, what they are losing, and your replacement, Mr High & Mighty will soon realise just precisely why you were so happy to leave. You are doing the very best thing getting out of there, and never ever believe otherwise or doubt yourself.

You are fantastic! And I know it as well as you. So every step you take around that place with steam coming out of your ears.. I am there with you. As is bestie, and OH and everyone else who knows you are worth so much more than that POS company!!! xxx
