They had lovely Christmas wrapping paper in Primark yesterday! Wanted to pick up some but already had lots of bags from other shops that I was struggling with! Will have to pick up another time. They had traditional tartan as well as red & white stripe like a candy cane you don't see very often. Also Poundland had a nice red one with fancy white lettering saying 'Merry Christmas' looks very similar to one you can get in whsmith or clintons but pricier in those shops.0

Oh i do love wrapping listening to christmas music:j
My favourite paper is the really old fashioned looking stuff that you get on the market. It's proper paper and is usually about 10 sheets for a £1. It just has that christmasy smell about it !!!! Hate the modern stuff, but will have to use rolls for some the kids toys and agree Studio have some nice paper this year.
Also i have decided to invest in a sellotape dispenser this year. They are only a couple of pound on ebay and will save having little pieces of tape stuck everywhere lol x
:xmastree:
How I ever lived without my sellotape dispenser I will never know. It makes the whole job so much easier!!0 -
If any of you are on pinterest and want some ideas for gift wrapping ... you can lose hours on there looking for ideas and themes. My DP thinks I am crazy but he just doesn't understand.
Christmas to me isn't about me receiving any gifts, I get so much satisfaction from people loving their thoughtfully chosen gift and the compliments on my wrapping that that makes my Christmas.
I can't decide on a theme though this year...0 -

Hi Starlett - bet you are good at wrapping then!
I have seen an alternative to the Santa belt - more a white snowman and you would have ribbon around the 'neck' area for a scarf - also could do black dots for the buttons - not as pretty as the red version though.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
Im very well practiced as there are pictres to follow and lots if practice not as fun as christmas wrap though. I love the idea of the snowman and have just been on pinterest for an hour looking up wrapping ideas! XShoot for the moon even if you miss you will land amoung the stars

Right..... Its happening...... I'm armed with boxes to wrap! Thinking of making myself a specialised board on pinterest to pin gift wrap ideas onto!
My OH officially thinks I've lost it now. Between the jars I collect (for gifts in a Jar!) and the toilet roll tubes (multiple uses, am I right?) and various scraps of fabric remnants I'm not sure how long he'll be able to stand me! At least I hide it all under the bed out of his sight!
I'll have to have a look around for some more posh wrapping paper next week I think, don't usually go in primark but the paper sounds lovely so I think I'll take a look!
Jo xxI'm usually using a phone, so excuse my spelling please!0 -
