I have two tubes for wine in the shape of snowy post boxes - which are too nice to give so I use for decorations!

I get so particular about the wrapping paper! I have looked everywhere and hardly anywhere has any nice stuff - have finally found some nice stuff from Studio 24! Will order it soon :) Where does everyone get their paper from? For the past few years I have been complimented on my wrapping! My family don't share my love of Christmas and are very last minute type people. They do all the wrapping on Christmas eve or Christmas day even! All in a rush & no care in it! I'm going to be so organised this year and get stuff done by middle of December! I'm sure no-one gives a damn about it but I like it to be nice! Everyone says I use too much tape! I have ordered some scotch gift wrap tape to try ( meant to be invisible!) cheaper from the works and got some sellotape (proper branded stuff!) for £1 from a local shop.. normally £2.60! I like having a theme too and colours and the sticky bows have to be co-ordinated with the gift wrap! :D I tend to like red, white and gold the most that is the usual. I have lots of gift bows left that are colourful that need using up but they won't go with the red!! :);)

Yes I had my red paper from Aces, same as Studio really. Also got some holly ones and Victorian. I like traditional stuff and hate modern patterns. Don't get out much to browse around.

I like holly ones the best I think but traditional Victorian ones with snow scenes or old fashioned Santas are good. Plus I have a juvenile sort of ones for young nieces.

I bought a gorgeous set of Lindi Bowman boxes off QVC a few years back but now stack them as decorations too and never used them.

I LOVE wrapping.. I have however developed a sensitivity to sellotape so it takes a bit longer now than before cutting tape with scissors and touching it as little as possible.

I bought so much wrapping paper in the sales in January that I think I will have to pass some of it on to my daughter.

I like the idea of dummy presents to keep under the tree for after Christmas but my grandchildren think that everything wrapped up is a present for them.

Actually, that has given me an idea to keep them well behaved on their post Christmas visits (when they are bored with what they got from Santa). I could tell them that one (each) of the presents might have something for them in it if they are good children, lol.

Oh i do love wrapping listening to christmas music:j

My favourite paper is the really old fashioned looking stuff that you get on the market. It's proper paper and is usually about 10 sheets for a £1. It just has that christmasy smell about it !!!! Hate the modern stuff, but will have to use rolls for some the kids toys and agree Studio have some nice paper this year.

Also i have decided to invest in a sellotape dispenser this year. They are only a couple of pound on ebay and will save having little pieces of tape stuck everywhere lol x

Good idea with the dispenser. Every year think I should but don't bother. Yes and always have pieces stuck everywhere!

My name is 74jax and I too am a wrapoholic.

The excitement when I was in Ikea and discovered they now have a wrapping section, I can't put it into words, but two hours later........

I love wrapping, adding bows, putting messages on tags, coordinating the wrap.

So much money and thought goes into my presents, I want them to look amazing under people's trees.

This year I'm going for rustic, with brown, almost like parcel wrap paper, but with hints of red and green. I have rustic string too together with usual bows and ribbon -although matt this year, not shiny -

I take one evening, a pan of mulled wine, Christmas films on tv, and I'm in heaven .
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....

Whilst I am not a wrapaholic it falls my lot to wrap the family presents.

I wonder if like me, you find a glue stick handy as a third finger for holding the wrapping paper in position before you're able to use the Sellotape?
