I can't decide what colour theme to use this year! Ideas anyone?

Would it be extremely mad of me to wrap every single present differently so I can just do all the ways I can think of?

  • Can I get some opinions on an idea I've been pondering please...

How would you feel about having a present wrapped in cloth?
I have a bit of festive fabric left over from some craft projects- mostly red and green velvet that I was thinking might look lovely bound up with some gold ribbon.
PLUS it's reusable, which is not only money saving but would help me feel slightly less guilty about the amount of paper that gets trashed every xmas....

Can I have some honest opinions please?
Obviously, I think I'd be pleased to recieve a gift wrapped this way but then I'm crafty and always find a use for odd scraps and remnants. I'm not sure how chuffed 'normal'/non-crafty folk would be?
Living thriftily ;) most of the time

dormouse I think that wrapping with cloth is popular in Japan. Personally, I'd love it, but I know others who probably wouldn't appreciate it. You have got me thinking now - maybe I'll try something similar for Christmas - I've seen some wraps in the lush catalogue for this purpose.

I like the idea of wrapping. I only get to wrap in the evenings when my children are asleep so it tends to be a mad rush when the children are asleep, so I don't get to enjoy it.

Last year, I left the stocking fillers until Xmas eve. I had about 60 presents to wrap (for 5 children - but they aren't all mine) and it was torture.
