I love wrapping too. But I do object to ( though never do anything about) my whole family turning up on Christmas eve with naked gifts and expecting to use my extensive supply of paper and ribbons !0

Yes son does that but I don't mind as I always have a supply of paper and gift bags and ribbons.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
Apologies if this has already been posted but I was directed to an amazing wrapping Japanese wrapping technique on you tube the other day. I am so tempted to try it but the paper I buy I think would be too cheap and liable to tear!

Does anyone else spend ages cutting out last year's christmas cards to make gift tags? I find it works well for the presents from Father Christmas as the kids can't remember! Was discussing mini cards at work the other day as a colleague was apologising for giving them out compared to some of the more obviously expensive cards. I commented that I preferred the mini ones as I can reuse them."I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0

I absolutely love making tags with the Christmas cards! Trouble is I now have a big box full of them - I'll never be able to use them all! I find it very therapeutic so it doesn't really matter. I recycle ribbon from presents and cut it out of clothing so my gift tags don't cost a penny. It's great to be able to match the tag to the person or present. What's really sad is that I've started to sort them into types eg robins, Father Christmas etc! Fewer and fewer people seem to be sending cards so maybe I'll catch up with myself one year!! 😊0 -
Yes I have a tin of cut up cards. Lots are too pretty to throw away and I too like matching them to the people - even if not used its nice to look through the cards again!Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0
