I'm not very good at wrapping, but I do enjoy it. Once all the presents have been brought, I put on my Christmas music, usually have a glass of something festive, and get all the presents wrapped in one marathon session.0

How lovely is this thread?!
Christmas wrapping is always nicer with a splash of mulled wine and something nice on the tv (Muppets anyone?) or my playlist of Christmas songs.
...and if some of that happens during October, even better!:D***Mortgage Free Oct 2018 - Debt Free again (after detour) June 2022***

We seem to be having such a beautiful sunny Autumn it's *almost* hard to feel festive...
Having said that, I have a rotten cold, a box full of presents, the house to myself and a need to both cheer myself up a bit and get myself well organised before December gets here... I feel a spot of wrapping coming on
Even if I am still sulking slightly about the lack of new papers etc to play with....Living thriftilymost of the time

Well started doing some wrapping with conventional seasonal wrapping. As well as red foil for son as Santa gifts I ordered some green foil from ebay for his girlfriend so that she can have Christmas Elf gifts! Just did a few to see how it worked.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0

The green foil I offered though is much more slippery than the red stuff form Studio24. Slips all over the place so will try and buy better stuff next year!
Not sure what other colour would suit - maybe fuchsia for a girlie girl!Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0 -
Some fab ideas on this thread! I, too, adore wrapping. Mine is all done but my best friend has taken pity on me and said I can wrap all of hers as she hates it!0

I love wrapping christmas presents. I stick on a christmas movie and park myself in the middle of our lounge floor and end up surrounded by bits of shiny paper, ribbons, bows etc. I try to wait until mid December but that doesn't always occur.0

Browsing Pinterest is dangerous!
I have bought, and am waiting on being delivered;
- brown craft paper
- gold ribbon
- dried orange slices
- cinnamon sticks
- candy canes
- twine
You'd think most of those would be pretty cheap - £35!!
