I prefer Waitrose than any other, mainly due to the fact that they stock products none of the other supermarkets do. Such as Tom's toothpaste (which doesn't have that nasty fluoride in it) Virgin coconut oil, hemp milk, is another that sticks out. They do Kettle tortilla (best crisps I've ever had) so I tend to overlook the attitudes and get what I need to get.

Asda's at xmas is a different story entirely

    Whats wrong with fluoride?.

Well last time I checked Waitrose was a shop and not some exclusive club. My grasp of the english language is perfectly fine, thank you very much. Just keep quiet when you feel the need to be rude instead of helpful.

Edit: Never mind, I just looked through some of your past comments and you seem to enjoy being touchy with people, you poor thing. Might I suggest going through your own spelling mistakes. You have quite a few in your past posts, you know. I´d work on that before calling others out on theirs. You must be terribly bored to feel the need to put other people on this forum down constantly, sorry about that.

I dont know if it's just me, but I thought Geerex post was ment tongue in cheek as opposed to being meant to be taken seriously?

There are studies that say it cause dental fluorosis, and it may also have a damaging effect on the brain, i'm sure there was more than that but that's all I can remember of the top of my head, memory aint what it used to be (have probably used to much fluoride :) )

Pulling people up on their spelling isn't tongue in cheek, and he does it a lot .

I would suggest you have been unfortunate. Some staff can be rude and some management don't seem to care about customer service. Not worth getting upset over such things, when half the world seems to be at war with the other half.

The waitrose I use is great, loads of parking near the entrance. Nice wide aisles, no screaming children called Keanu and Chantelle:p no one in pyjamas and fake uggs.

Seriously though, the staff I've spoken to have all been lovely, I'm 32 but look younger and I never sense any judgement from them. I frequently buy reduced goods - the stores reduce them because they want to sell them!

Waitrose, like many stores these days, encourages customers to provide feedback. I took them at their word, and I e-mailed them with feedback about how difficult it was to find the My Waitress offers cited in an e-mail, and in their newspaper, in our local store. This was two weeks ago. All I have received back is an e-mail saying that they are investigating my complaint! A simple 'thank you for your feedback' would have been sufficient.

Waitrose?? I always thought that was along the lines of Lidl and Aldi so apologies if it has some respectability. The more discerning shopper no doubt uses Fortnum and Masons and/or Harrods. My neighbours would be totally horrified if I were to walk down the street with my man carrying Waitrose or M and S shopping bags.:grouphug:
