I was hoping to get on with things today, but am feeling a bit rubbish again. That always seems to be the case these days! Will still try and do something and see how I get on.

I must have got out of the wrong side of bed, because as mentioned before, I'm brewing an argument with DH about all the stuff lying around. I'm going to see if I can bundle it all together and clear a space for it somehow before I blow my top

I've just bought a birthday present for a friend on Amazon. She's got a wishlist, so just picked something off there. Usually with a wishlist you get it sent directly to the recipients address, but this time I had to put it in manually. In today's frame of mind, that has really annoyed me as what was going to be a 30 second task has meant me having to dig out my bank card (as I was using a different address) and hunting out my address book to look up her address

Oh dear, first world problems huh :rotfl:

I'd better try and get on before I explode in a big ball of rage :D

Thanks Tattycath. Most of the problem is it's mostly DH's stuff. He never gets round to moving it all or sorting it out, and there's nowhere else to put it!

I'm going to have to try and talk to him calmly about it, because otherwise I'm liable to explode!

Yes, I can relate to that. My OH is quick to comment about our stuff but he has had a few boxes stood in the lounge for over 2 months!

Sorry you're not feeling 100% today jwil (((hugs))), this heat probably doesn't help.
I am enjoying the hot weather - it's long overdue!
It can be a pain when you go to do something and it should take 2 minutes and ends up taking 20 minutes!
I won't advise you to calm down/keep calm as when people say that to me it winds me up even more!
I do recommend a cup of tea or coffee and take five minutes to yourself-if you can manage that without little jwil needing your attention. :)

Well done on the payments :j
At the moment I'm trying to put money away in different pots for different things as I know there are a lot of jobs round the house/garden that need doing and I need to start saving for them.
Not to mention DD1 is going to struggle to pay her car insurance this year and I know she hasn't made any provisions for it and it's due in November-mine is due soon too, but mine isn't over a grand!

DH does that too. He leaves stuff lying around for months, but if I do it, I get questioned as to why it's there!

There's so much here I'd like to do too, but realistically the decluttering and debt reduction needs to come first. It's about trying to balance it all isn't it.

 to £1000 car insurance though!

Hmmm, not doing so well so far. I have moved a few things around, and have pulled out some books that I can just flick through and put out.

I've filled a box of books to go out in the car boot pile, and almost another one. There are some there that I *might* like to read, but I'm not that bothered, so they can go in the car boot pile. If they don't sell, I'll hold them back rather than send them to charity, but they won't be in the house. If I ever get through the TBR piles, I'll bring them in to look at.

I have listed a few items on ebay for DH. I've also done a few for me. My overseas buyer did pay up, so that's been posted as well.

Confession time - I've been very spendy today :o So I forced myself to stick some stuff on ebay to try and recoup the money. The trouble is, the stuff I've put on are speculative, so they may or may not sell.

    Anyway, I have purchased:
£16.50 on some shoes for little jwil (desperately needed so ok)
Almost £50  on two coins - one for little jwil and one for baby - they are due to be Christmas presents.
£15  on a nappy for baby

:naughty: The coins are silver £20 coins from the year of birth. Obviously I missed out on the one from little jwil's year, so as one came up on ebay at a very good price, I had to get it as it was about £10 cheaper than the others have been going for. I then just decided to get one for this year from Royal Mint in case they sell out.

The nappy is a limited edition and very close to selling out. I wanted to get one for the new baby. No excuses, but I'll be able to sell it on when I'm done with it.

    :o:o

A very expensive morning, and now I'm skint for the rest of the month, so need to sort out some sales now!
