I've not been quite so ambitious with my targets for this month.
I've decided that I'm going to have a few days away from focussing on ebay and have a good go at tidying up and cleaning the house a bit. Hopefully that will unearth some new ebay fodder and make the house look a bit more presentable.
I heard yesterday that I will be getting some household cleaner to test so this will be a good time to try it out
The house seems to be a huge mess at the moment, and I don't know if it's just messy or if the house is getting worse with clutter.
I do have some stuff prepped and photo'd so may stick a few bits on, but it won't be my main focus this week.
I'm also going to try and do my car as it's completely disgusting at the moment!
I did use all my free listings at the weekend to relist some BINs, so there's still hope for some sales anyway. Tomorrow we get the next lot of 20 free listings so I can relist some more as well.
Everything we sold at the weekend has been paid and posted so that's out of the way. A non payer has finally paid up and something else has sold on BIN so I have a couple of items to post.
We've got a lot on at weekends this month, so not sure how much time I'll have to do stuff. i'm thinking of booking a couple of days off work so I can have some time to myself to get on without DH and little jwil around.
Hope everyone is well!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi Jwil,
Sounds like you have a good plan there. I badly need to declutter the house as it is getting on my nerves!
I need a few days off work while the kids are at school...unlikely to happen though!

Thank OF
Sadly things didn't go as planned yesterday. I took one look at it all, thought 'where do I start?' and gave up
That is the problem, it keeps happening. There's nowhere to move things to.
Oh well, best try again.
Must get that leave request in."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Well, as mentioned, I didn't get very far yesterday. Did manage to declutter a bit more wool into the rug, and move a few books around.
Must try harder!
I've received £3 from a survey site today, so that was sent towards the debt. Also paid a little bit more.
Up to date with surveys again, no ebay sales but an offer on one item which I accepted. I somehow don't think they are going to pay as they are overseas and asked in the offer how much postage was (it's shown in the listing). I didn't get the chance when I accepted the offer to reply, so am guessing they won't want to pay it as it's a lot more than the item is worth.
I wish people would just read the listing!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

You've just got to break the job down into bite size chunks. That's what I have to do too. It makes it more manageable. Baby steps/little and often.
If I try to tackle it as a whole it's too overwhelming.
Good luck! LolGE 36 *MFD may 2043

Thanks Tattycath. Most of the problem is it's mostly DH's stuff. He never gets round to moving it all or sorting it out, and there's nowhere else to put it!
I'm going to have to try and talk to him calmly about it, because otherwise I'm liable to explode!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
