    You're doing really well jwil!
I have a few things listed. I still need to list some more though.
How long do you list the BIN for ? If you don't mind me asking.

    Thanks Tattycath :)

I always list for 30 days on BIN, and hope that it will sell beforehand. If it hasn't sold after 30 days, unless it's something that will wait, I reduce the price and/or alter the listing.

Hey everyone, hope you are all well :)

I've finally managed to make some payments this month. Am going to try and get another load listed today to hopefully keep it going :T

My sales normally pick up around now, so people must be starting to get paid.

    Thanks OF and Tattycath :)

    Hope everyone is well.

I've had some sales over the weekend, so shall be able to make another payment when I figure out the totals.

We sold at a car boot on Saturday, and managed to clear quite a few books. I used to sell them 50p or 3 for a £1. I've now started doing them 30p or 4 for a £1. It seems to make a massive difference in how quickly they sell, and really I'm only getting a few pence less. It means we can clear them much quicker and not be lugging around loads of weight.

Sunday we went for a mooch around the boot sales. Didn't buy much, a couple of bits for little jwil.

We sold quite a lot this weekend, so another sack of post to the sorting office this morning. Quite a few more still to pay as well. One of my sales is another bulky item, so fingers crossed they will pay up.

I've identified a couple more bags of stuff to sort through. I'm trying to keep the momentum going, whilst at the same time, really trying to clear some of my books. It's hard to get a balance, but I'm very aware that my reading time is going to reduce even further in a few months time, so really want to make a dent in the hundreds (thousands!) of books stacked around the house

I am still working hard to get the finances in shape so that I can hopefully take the full year off. I've been keeping up to date with the surveys to the best of my ability, and am redeeming for supermarket vouchers where I can, as well as a mix of amazon vouchers and paypal. I'm hoping to build up a nice stash of storecupboard items etc to keep us going for the whole time I am off.

I've also paid up front for a years line rental which gives us a bit of a discount, and also removes some of our monthly outgoings.

It's all a bit depressing though as I do all of this work, but the house never seems to get any better. I don't get it! It still feels like a mountain to climb! I guess it's because so much is DHs and he is not moving at the same speed I am, and also has a habit of filling gaps I make!

You're still doing really well jwil. You're selling stuff and still have loads to sell-so you're making the extra money. I keep selling stuff but still seem to have a mountain to climb too...I think my problem is that I keep buying 'the odd thing' lol. Or the kids have a sort out and bring bin liners of stuff to me and say it's rubbish...so I go through this 'rubbish' and sort out what can be recycled, sold or given to charity. Less than a third of it goes in the bin. :o

Thanks Tattycath :) You are right, the odd thing still heads in here as well. Also little jwil grows out of everything so we still have all his old stuff which we are keeping for the new one. Once that one grows out of it all, we'll have loads of bulky stuff to get rid of!

Great that it doesn't get thrown away, we are very strict here about reuse and recycling, and very little goes in our bin as well :)

One of my debts that I tried to make an arrangement on has been sold on 'as they couldn't come to agreement about a payment arrangement'. They didn't even try!! They didn't respond to any of my letters, so how is that not coming to an agreement. Idiots!

At least then hopefully I can come to an arrangement now, I just guess I have to wait for them to get in touch.
