Ironed and had my geek fix with Heroes. :T The Las Vegas woman's alter ego was very Flylady I thought, tidying up the garage after the carnage..

hiya, well I watched anthea and then was gonna watch big brother, but I'm getting a bit bored with it now so decided to crack on and get some more housework done, managed to get our bedroom tidied and vacced, all the washing put away, vacced and mopped the hallway and gave the living room a good going over too, everywhere is nice and tidy now!!plan for tomorrowget laundry finished offIf weather dry will clean windows outsideDailiesbreakfast, dinner and tea, washing up etcironing stuff for next dayS&S toilet, bathroom and kitchenquick vac through after teamake bedsHave got to go to bank and post office too. From now on will stick to the lists, and hopefully get less stressed about keeping things spotless, it is the school holidays afterall and there is no way the place will stay tidy 24/7 lol.Take care everyone.emMarriages are made in heaven, but then again so is thunder and lightning!!!.....getting divorced lol :j

Sorry but what channel is Anthea on and when? I've never seen this series yet and everyones been on about it.
Sounds like you're getting back on top of things Emmie, well done.
Thanks for the support and info appreciate it, but after tonights outburst I think I will wait until next week before tackling it (when he's off work) I suppose what winds me up the most is he only works 3 evenings a week. He's gone to watch TV upstairs so I will sort dogs out, clear table etc as eaten late, then get myself to bed, only a couple of plates to wash depends how I feel as to if they will be done tonight.
Have made progress with the boys, tomorrow I am teaching DS2 how to use the washing machine, now this may seem brave as he's only 6 but will always be done when I am there and only taught how to do a 30 degree wash when one of the colour sections is full (all mines seperated into sections in the basket) he seems to be looking forward to it actually. Have said I will show him how to measure his breakfast out properly aswell, going to do the same with DS1, get them to do the basics like make a sandwich and choose a healthy meal etc. They'll be more independant than their Dad as he can't do that :rotfl: . Reward chart I created seems to be working well, both behaved better after one warning, DS1 did have a tantrum about doing some of his room, Dad got annoyed and tried to take over so I resolved it, hence the outburst. I don't want anyone undoing the work I am putting in!!!One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
well i'm in bed a bit earlier tonight, if not early!
my list is looking like this:
wilkos again - curtains, lightbulbs - ended up getting curtains from dunelm actually!
bathroom clean - cillit bang is needed (just as a one off) as tiles are nasty - looks awesome, was so much nasty soap scum. you can see your face in the tiles now!
second coat on downstairs loo
look for pictures - no success
order OHs bday present
check home answerphone
check work email
suggest painting 1 or 2 smaller bedrooms with leftover paint
clean & hoover out my car
put up washing line
waste paper baskets
order wardrobe online
we also hung four pairs of curtains, and the bathroom took me well over an hour. i hate cillit bang but as an occasional thing it really does work. other people's soap scum is nasty! my friend is really not a clean or tiidy person but i'm thinking of altering a flylady list from here for her house and giving it to her as a guide. the house she moved out of was seriously yukky, i think she is just one of those people with no idea how to do practical stuff, so as long as she's not offended the list might help! i go home thursday moring and have my own mess to go back to!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

I can tell it's the holidays.. I'm sitting here in my PJ's and have been for about erm...2 hours:rotfl: I actually saw OH out this morning but only becuase he woke me up to talk to me instead of me keeping him awake of a night talking to him - wonders will never cease (would you believe I've just had to look that word up in the dictionary to see if I spelt it right...looks like my brain is in a "get it right the first time" mode today  )!
So here I am yet again thinking I should try to get some work done but bed is calling to me... I think I might go and have a bath and see if that helps - the drop in temperature upstairs should wake me up as all the windows are open airing the place :rotfl: Right, updating my list from yesterday to see what I've got left to do (just deleting what I've done...) as well as the dailies:
