Worked all day - and too tired to do much when I got home
So here's my list of done things - nothing to what it should be!
Dinner in SC before work
One full load of laundry and one smaller load of black trousers
Work
Vegies for dinner
Folding/Ironing
Sorted business accounts paid
Printed out stats of those who are well overdue in paying so OH can sort tomorrow
That's about it. Work again tomorrow - then will try and do a BIG catch up Friday & Saturday.
Hugs to all . . .If there is to be any peace, it will come through being, not having - Henry MillerM.A.C.A.W Member . . Wannabe Flybaby0 -
Morning all
I did have a load of washing on the line but it's now draped round upstairs. Forecast was for light and patchy rain but they lied.
I did the living room properly today (only swiped it yesterday) and vacuumed the hallway and kitchen too. I changed the bed yesterday because the weather was good, but I polished and vacuumed all the bedrooms and the landing today. Did computer desk too because that's in the hallway.
Made my third batch of hobnobs and this time they turned out to be biscuits instead of softer/cakey but still tasty things!0 -
Right, I'm back to see what I need to do properly :rotfl: Bathroom is currently demoulding itself (Dettol Mould & Mildew spray

A big
Thank you!
to everyone who has been enquiring about my cat. It's remarkable how quickly they learn to adapt with 3 legs, and it certainly hasn't affected his personality - little monster kept me awake last night yowling at the bedroom window wanting to go out. He has also decided to take up residence on my side of the sofa, so little flying was done yesterday. He has his final checkup at the vets on Friday, and then he can go out again. His stitches are healing nicely, and his lovely black fur is growing back again. I'm sure he'll be back to his usual, if lighter, self in no time at all.
Am off to clean the kitchen floor in a minute as I didn't do it on Monday as Ebony was in there, so will just have to play catch up depending on which room he decides to vacate. lol
Good luck to all who are flying today, and hugs for everyone who needs them.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
 Well not a good start, anti biotics finished few days ago and the sore throat/feeling icky is back, oh naff! I've been trying to straighten the kitchen a little inc yesterdays washing up
I don't usually leave it but couldn't be bothered last night, anyway all done now. I think I might go back to bed for a bit and leave DP with the boys then do my room, hot/cold sweats I think would be pointless doing my bed before that. He of course won't do any housework but means I can recharge a little before cracking on again. Has measured the hall cupboard for me which decided where to put shelves in, I really need the storage sorting before trying to sort out, no point with nowhere to put anything, just ends up being dumped in another hidey hole.
Hope you all have a good day, weather miserable again here so TD is on, washer on third load, I hate even switching the TD on when I wouldn't be usually even using it normally over the summer months but needs must. Great news about kitty being back to himself a bit more sexymouse, I am sure going by that he's going to adapt just fine.
Ikea is evil, I can go in for a £8 storage unit like last week and come out nearly £100 lighter, too much great stuff in one shop, have to ban myself from going!
Decided will work on the kids jobs lists and rules tonight when they go to bed then discuss with them tomorrow, seeing as we'll actually be in. DS1s swearing is getting to me, his behaviour & agression also need tackling, he keeps just having outbursts of words he's picked up (using the excuse of xxx at school says it etc) but then will just bounce up and down repeating the word over and over again. Calling me a b*tch repeatedly last night then punching me in the face was the final straw! Will get it sorted, just takes a little work :rolleyes:One day I might be more organised...........

You sound so tired lil_me, you just seem to be doing everything on your own. You're not a single parent, don't try and be superwoman and do it all yourself.0

Pollybear just how it's always been really, he doesn't even know how to work the cooker, washer, drier etc. I do do near enough everything on my own, everything that involves cooking/making meals and drinks etc, laundry, cleaning, animals stuff etc. Did help the other night when dealing with the nasty maggots moved the sofas and did some of the picking up. I am going to do a list of the major jobs I need his help with in a mo however, things like building shelves etc I am sure he can help with, furnitue shifting aswell.
Well I gave up trying to sleep, kids noise mainly. So instead got to work on new charts for them www.chartjungle.com is great for them if anyone else needs them. Copied one and pasted it onto word doc then edited to make it more suitable. Printing those this afternoon. Done new price lists, stock lists etc for the club aswell. One day I might be more organised...........

Lil_me do what I did, threaten other half with apply for the telly programme "mums on strike" - dont know if you have seen it but mum gets whisked off to a fancy hotel and Dad is left to the lot! Its amazing how much DH has changed over the last few months, he now irons everything (even his work shirts) and this from a bloke who never lifted an iron for the 13 years we had been together previously. He also asks me to leave him a list of jobs to do when I work at the weekend and credit where it is due he usually gets through them all.
He now says he doesn't know how I put up with him in the years since we had the littles as he did sweet "F" all and was a waste of space (his words). Maybe draft out a letter and leave it lying around.
You are a complete star and you need to look after yourself, I get the feeling you are running yourself into the ground hun! Please look after you!
Anyway, enough nagging.....
We went to the library and that was fab, art and craft session and story. Came home had lunch, made lemon drizzle cake (well sponge in oven) about to rehoover lounge to get lunch crumbs and girls now want to make jam tarts. Have also go a chicken in oven so I can make a batch of curry for freezer later.
Dragged washing off line as it heaved it down and now Mr Sunshine has decided to come back out - tough its staying on the airer, bedding was almost dry anyway.0 -
I do everything too, that's why I notice when someone else is doing the same. But I haven't got glandular fever and two small children. Even if you normally do stuff on your own, you could really do with some help over the next couple of months.0

Hi all,
Just checking in before I go and get on with my tasks! Bed-linen is changed and old stuff has been washed, but I daren't hang it out as the weather is *so* changeable.
If I never see another cabbage it will be too soon! I'd let a couple of cabbages in the veg patch grow enormous before harvesting them. Trouble was, the beasties had got at them so I had to do a lot of chopping and removing of gunky leaves to rescue anything. Never mind - I've got enough for Sunday's roast dinner in the fridge, and 4 x portions for 2 in the freezer. Next time I will definitely harvest them when they are smaller!
Lil_me: you sound completely fed-up (and quite rightly!) I hope you manage to get some peace and quiet; and some help from your DP. Please go back and see your doctor if you're still not feeling right in a couple of days (sorry -didn't mean to lecture!)
Have a good afternoon everyone, whatever you're planning on doing.
