Some startlingly high proportion of drugs that are tested do work very well but do not pass safety tests. ISTR that aspirin would not pass modern tests.
I hope you can sleep better soon. If you use a laptop or tablet late at night the blue light from the screen can upset your sleep patterns. I turn the brightness on my ipad down to minimum after about 9 PM. That really does seem to help me.
Thanks. I'll try that.
Although not being able to get to sleep is only occasionally the problem. Mostly the problem is not having the self discipline to go to bed. I enjoy the "me time" when I'm safe from interruption by my kids too much.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
I know you lot only have positive things to say about my car, but some others are not as charitable...I think....0

I'm usually listening to the tv whilst I fall asleep (I put it on a timer). Often I've just put my phone down too.
If I had a superpower it would probably be sleeping.
On a related note, I have to be up early tomorrow. Which is bad enough seeing as tomorrow is Sunday. But the Sunday that the clocks have gone back... I hope I get the right time.0 -

It's a very good idea, but it needed to be prettier and preferably narrower (it's wider than a Transit and a nightmare to park)
I'd happily have had one with the newer lights if Ford didn't bring out a full-sized, mini 7 seater at the time I was changing the car.💙💛 💔0 -

That last is easy, if someone cuts you up you can put on the full beams and they are mounted high enough to shine straight into the car aheadI think....0 -
The Girl laughed out loud at your car.
Back in around, oh, 2000, I hired one of these for a couple of weeks as we had a big family get-together and loads of people coming into town.
We nicknamed it 'the frog', but to be fair, it was surprisingly good to drive and super practical.
I quite liked it.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
-- President John F. Kennedy”0
