I saw this and the mention of unlimited yorkies and thought of PN:

That's where Nikkster and I breakfasted when she stayed.... they didn't have breakfast yorkies then!0 -
Oh, forgot to tell you lot that we've sold old home subject to contract.
Surveyor been in and OK-ed it. Going to developers, which is more or less what we expected. We did have a slightly higher offer, but the surveyor had been in by then so we felt it wasn't fair to take it up. Obviously we are money fools?
OH went round today to collect mail, and the composter from back yard (plus the compost in it!) which now taken to lottie. Next time I go round will take loppers and harvest the bamboo.
Still have other stuff to get out, including from loft. Trouble is we have kids old bunk beds up there that OH can't get down on his own. Needs someone to grab at bottom of loft hole, which I'm not fit enuff to do. If we can grab next door neighbour there he'd prob help, but it's a matter of finding him at a suitable time as he works shifts. Aaarrrggghhhh!
We have to clear the loft obviously. We do have number for a bloke who will do it, but goes to landfill and will cost by weight. And I'm too mean to do that if can possible avoid.
Last para at least I've finally got back to something vaguely on topic for this forum! :rotfl:0 -

Just closing up the caravan for the night, so stepped outside for a mo. Saw Venus and Sirius. :j And the moon between ragged clouds. Might even unlock later and step out again before climbing into bed. Will make my hot water bottles before though if I do - it's definitely a bit chilly out there!0

I understand that. Particularly in view of the issues there already are with confusion and memory.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
