Edit: Just seen that they have collected them. Is this a national chain of chemists, like Boots?
Edit again: There's a lot to be said for the slow release version of the medication that suits you and you are used to. It's absolutely definitely not available?
Yes, chain.
Not available.
I have found alternative I think. But needs prescription.
I now ok but not going to drive to see doctor. He will call me later. I will ask if I can have that one.
He will say yes or no. Depending on why no( I expect no) I will decide what I do next about my medication.
Sorry it sounds terse, trying to stay readable.0 -
Quite right.
Calm down, as there's no rush. Certainly, there's no rush to complain. I'm not convinced that DH needs to drop everything and come home early.
The only important question is: Do you have enough meds to be going on with?
No rush to complain todY, agreed.
I haven't got any of some meds as they took whole docket boxes.
I have what I have left over from when I've missed doses before, they are all in different mg and stuff, Nd some are different drugs. Theoretically I shouldn't have Ny. I don't want to mess with this now, so I'm not going to.
But by later I'll need someone else to help me.
I', ok. Calm, was upset earlier, which makes things appear worse. But would rather fir here for GP, because will find that hard. Because ears full as much as anything and going to have to spell drug name,0 -
Lots of love, LIR...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Thanks.
I'm ok. I know writing looks otherwise but I am ok..

All the best LIR.
Maybe now's the time to start to be a little more assertive.0 -
All the best LIR.
Maybe now's the time to start to be a little more assertive.
Problem is asserting without memory of facts.. And staying awake long enough to, lol. And feeling grasp of language.
I feel quite ok in my facts over this incident because its fresh and I now made notes to refer to later.
I don't know how more assertive I can be over these frustrations. I have almost no pharmaceutical knowledge, and cannot get hold of GP when personal communication is hard.
I have limited other choice of local pharmacies, one of which we have tried and had same experience with ( other chain) and other one is independent who don't deliver, so aren't suitable for me. Because reasonably often I have short notice changes or amendments a purely postal service isn't suitable.
Head clearer ( thanks to caffiene!) . But already lost my big muscles in legs, I guess because I got in a stew.:rotfl:
I guess the thing is, when you were unwell, you talked about having faith in your doctors etc. I feel I have to balance that with my own research etc. all the time. If I had just done what was said i'd be dead more than once, lol. But I cannot alienate myself from their knowledge and experience and ability to provide pharmaceuticals.
Its exhausting feeling you have to check everything, nothing to do with assertiveness. I do have trust and faith issues which could do with addressing, but I would argue today is not the day.
......
In the middle of that pharmacist rang. Ye gads.
After talking the drug I am asking. Bout cannot be sourced until Tuesday anyway so I'm getting a docket for today till then, thrives some time to speak to GP.
Talked to her about duty of care etc. reiterated my concerns.
She says she doesn't know of Nyone else who has had so many problems, that my combination of drugs is unusual, and the way I take my sr pills is also pretty unique which might cause confusion.
I guess if it really is just that I am a statistical anomaly its better I am than someone who is less familiar with their drugs. But I cannot feel sure it is.
Hmm.
Will try and have sensible talk about it before making like nick Ferrari tonight.0 -
I don't think you have a duty to protect others. You have enough on your plate, as it is, just protecting you.
As NDG says, lots of love.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
That really does read like gibberish. Sorry!
Edit, my post, not your GDb.
I dunno I agree with yours, but its not gibberish, lol.0 -
I thought what you wrote was not gibberish. I'm delighted the pharmacist is sorting you out some meds for the weekend. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Ready to argue case with GP....
He said...
Yeah fine, never heard of it but fine.
So, pills for to night / weekend should arrive this afternoon and I can try alternative starting Wednesday.
Phew.
Also found out he HADNOT done the referral to the proposed NHS surgeon yet. Grrrrrr.
Edit; silver lining.
1. Today I was forced to act on something I have been not acting about and might have found a better alternative to what I had until now.
2. Further delay to my surgery was discovered by this c*ck up, and that's been dealt with.0
