:rotfl: I would struggle to dress him on any level...he's quite stout I think.0 -
Ah I understand now........no chance of a London Pharmacy having them if you could get another prescription?
um....? ''after I miss heard have you writhing as nick Ferrari..'' the bloke that does the LBC morning show? He's not very writhe-able in the flesh.
Handily, we have a spare room you are welcome to stay in.vivatifosi wrote: »I sooo want to start a rumour that you have dressed him. Was about to ask what it was meant to say, then realised it might well have meant to say 'have you writhing'
We don't dirty phone chat about lbc presenters.
I think its a combination of my ears and his phone getting crackly.0 -
The opportunity to see you and your OH again is enough. Dates permitting, I'm up for a day trip to the Big Smoke. Or 2 incl. Gen's.
In a way it's nice to do a house party as you can move about, swap seats, have a snoop about, have a lie down if you get tired, no sharing of the bill (as I will insist on catering for the main + all the drink....I am rubbish at puddings though so those will have to be donated).
I even have a new SIL from Aus who has been teaching me vegan cooking so I will attempt something exciting for Viva.
In fact, I must find out from where (could be Melbourne) and she was telling me about these huge farmers markets that she used to go to (she is really into that raw food diet thingy).0 -
fc I know I'm very new to the NP thread, but if you do end up hosting a NP "do" I would love to come if that'd be okay - I can get to you on the 89 bus and it would be gorgeous to meet some of you
ETA I can bring a pud!0 -
If there really is a shortage I might well try and procure privately longer term.
If there is a genuine shortage you won't be able to get privately. DS2 has been driven mad by the shortages of a prescription cream for which there are no substitutes. May try and attempt overseas.
There is a list that the pharmaceutical body produces with details of how long they expect shortages to last. Can't find it on tablet but it should be google able.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. If its the list I have just found I cannot see mine on it.
Don't know what OS rules re sending in are now, I mean, cannot remember. I could get a script for USA ok.0 -

If it was Melbourne probably listed here, they've got some great farmers markets there.
Or for not so much just a farmers market but a great place to go and waste the day, there's always the Queen Vic.....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Gosh...absolutely...everyone welcome. You never know, we could get a stalker as well ...OH would love that. ''and who are you?''
''Oh I am a stalker who hangs out on a chat board of 17 people'' and he would probably invite them in with a smile.

Just to say on the record of the NPT, I am quite enjoying having a fairly 'normal' life at the moment.
OK, the worries of the parents in the future is lurking but, right now, they are both living their lives and aren't in any trauma.
Work is now quiet (as expected but then the slowdown came 2 years later than we forecast-ed) and stress free. We have sufficient T/O to tick over ...in fact it's still more than our old shop did even when doing well but with a fraction of the overhead).
It's a shame the move and 'New Life' plans couldn't happen but, oddly, I am not at all upset about it.
In fact, I can honestly say....if this is as good as it gets....this is OK. I don't think I have ever really felt that about any other time in my life.0 -
I'm now hopelessly behind with this thread, sorry
From a quick scan through it looks like a lot of us are making progress where things were looking bleak the past few weeks
I'd definitely be up for an NP meet-up! London is very do-able for a day trip.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0
