Poor DS managed to fall over at school today when running and has seriously impaired his beauty with a lot of stripped skin on his face, a large bump on his head and possibly a broken finger.
Ouch! It will heal. I do wonder how you scrape your face if you put out your hand to break your fall?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I want to make a mini video of photos of DS2 from birth to now. I have no very recent photos, so asked DS2 to send me a photo. He sent me one of him with the girlfriend. He hasn't got a recent one of him on his own he says. Now I don't really want her on the video in case they split up. I also wanted the video to end with him on his own age 21. Diplomatically what am I going to do?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I think being 6 and tripping over your own feet helps. I slipped in a muddy puddle this morning and so nearly went ar*e over t*t which would not have had a good ending as I was stepping over a concrete kerb at the time and didn't have my hands free to balance.
Has anyone bought a house at auction? How does one go about having a mortgage on stand by?I think....0 -

Forgot he is only 6. I was always told never to walk with your hands in your pockets, especially in ice or snow for that reason.
Auctions: You need to (a) watch homes under the hammer, (b) get the legal pack scrutinised carefully (c) get your mortgage application done in advance of the auction.
Alternatively find a mortgage broker who will know which lenders can move very quickly. You normally have only 28 days to complete.
Never been brave enough. Maybe that is something we should look to doing as we keep getting outbid on stuff here.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Seen this, 365 is probably about the right price, suspect it will go for over 400

I thought the market would be nervous this spring but it seems to be much more active than any of the last few years in terms of volumes of properties coming onto the market and sstcs. I think the sensible move would be to sit out until the autumn and see which way things are going....I think....0 -

I think a really obvious photoshop removal of GF is probably the way to go....did I mention the time when I took a new GF to stay with me at my parents and my mum 'by mistake' had put a photo of me and my ex in the spare bedroom we slept in....I think....0 -

You respect his wishes.
It can be edited later. Or not.
He obviously feels she is a considerable pm act on his life, that won't change if / when they part. The photo being there might teach him something though, if it needs to, or he might feel it important enough to value its presence.
By not using the photo he sent you risk creating a whole host other problems IMO.0 -

Thanks. I should say he doesn't know why I want the photo. I just told him I need a recent photo for something I'm making for his b'day.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. We've bought at auction many times. Either bought cash and subsequently remortgaged, or used business banking loan or overdraft as they always move quickly on it.
Never risked it with a mortgage company. It's stressful enough without waiting weeks for a survey.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

It's too late. If you don't include that photo now you a re making a statement ( unless none of the photos have anyone else in at all including brother and you guys).
Fir stopped talking to his family and I had to make him call his father every month or so and his siblings to try and rectify things over time. Young love can be incredibly powerful and young men can love in the most incredible way. A way that fairy tales are written about.
I just hate the idea of any silliness in your life over the next few years over a little photo.0
