I have a second interview today at 11am for a really interesting (internal) job. It even has a built in promotion after ~2 years as it's a job share with a 70+ y/o.
I once watched an entire episode of Corrie in about 1988. Never felt the need to do that again.
Good luck with that Gen. Ditto Corrie - my mum used to watch it and I was sometimes around, she died in 19913 and so I haven't seen an episode since.
Zag, stay warm and no dashing about!0 -

Luggage depending, she could even park a mile away, walk to the station, help you with luggage, then catch a taxi together back to wherever it was that she managed to park.
Preferably not (even stopping) on a red route, as that's a ticket (!)
My advice in c. London is to find the nearest residential street, and make sure you stay with the car, so it doesn't get towed. I left the S-Max on the street the day we moved out of Acton (the car itself was 4 days old, so no parking badge) and it disappeared in the time it had taken to go upstairs and carry a sofa down. Cost me £30 to get it back, and I wasn't impressed.💙💛 💔0 -
DS has just bought this - fancies himself as a motor trader. Maybe. Who knows? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
I've been contemplating a roll of toilet paper for a while, but sadly I just don't seem to have feelings for it.[/
I have discovered that loo roll holders are often on the left hand side. Believe me when you cannot reach and help yourself to loo roll when needed you have strong feelings about it.0 -
Thanks for the good wishes. This is nothing like as serious or enduring as what others have had to put up with here. Have to type one-handed for a while, that's all. Will have to take train back instead of plane, because of the cast.
DW wants to meet me at the station but don't know if that's practical around C London due to parking.:(
Glad tohear you are onyourway home. Ifyou need any tips on doing things one handed. I'm your girl.0 -

I've two loos. One downstairs has it on the right; one upstairs has it on the left. I'm sure these things aren't always planned, just stuck somewhere that somebody thinks seems a good idea at the time they're standing there trying to get it onto the wall.0 -

My downstairs one is under the stairs, the upstairs one is above the kitchen (if they were the same level, about 3-4m away)
I don't know a lot about the piping in the house, but it probably seemed the best idea, rather than digging into the kitchen below the bathroom to try to find room for it.💙💛 💔0 -

We didn't want to drill into our beautiful new tiles in both bathroom and showeroom, so we have toilet caddies. Just a tall bit of metal on a weighted base to store the loo rolls on, with a right angle bend at the top to hang the one in current use on. They're both to the right (as you're sitting), but would be light enough to move easily if needed.Cheap in John Lewis Jan Sale about 4 years ago.
