We didn't want to drill into our beautiful new tiles in both bathroom and showeroom, so we have toilet caddies. Just a tall bit of metal on a weighted base to store the loo rolls on, with a right angle bend at the top to hang the one in current use on. They're both to the right (as you're sitting), but would be light enough to move easily if needed.Cheap in John Lewis Jan Sale about 4 years ago.
Currently : basket on the floor on the left downstairs and a shelf on the left upstairs ( was a thingy on the wall on the right but that wall panel had to come down and we haven't got round to putting it up and I'm not sure I'm minded to. It looks kind of neater with nothing out.
Fir saw a dermatologist today and will be starting a new treatment ( to him) for psoriasis after some blood tests to check his health status. The dermatologist said this treatment has no impact in fifty percent of people but very good in the other fifty. So we are very hopefulseems like a really good move for him so I am really excited.

Oooh! That does sound promising. Hope it works.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

And good luck with the job gen. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I have a second interview today at 11am for a really interesting (internal) job. It even has a built in promotion after ~2 years as it's a job share with a 70+ y/o.
I once watched an entire episode of Corrie in about 1988. Never felt the need to do that again.
Good luck with the job, Gen. Looks very promising.http://stpancras.com/maps/parking
Very expensive to park there, but it is possible, and it's handy for King's X.
Or, if you are coming into Euston, http://www.apcoa.co.uk/parking-in/london/london-euston-station.html
Thanks GDB. We'll probably end up using that.:)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Do we live in a police state?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-30897127
It was always argued that if you hadn't done anything wrong then you wouldn't need to worry about draconian police powers but it now appears that simply by residing in the same household as someone who has once broken the law can impact on whether you can teach/look after children in schools. I can't see how this could be compatible with the European Human Rights Act?I think....0 -
...
Even so, the blanket rules said I had to have a full Enhanced CRB - even though I'd never, ever, meet any of these people ... in case they had children.
I laughed really - but those were the rules, so they got me the bit of paper they needed to tick the boxes.
(Oh, in case anybody's wondering how I lost that job .... I was told they were going to get a big/new contract, when in fact they ended up losing the contract they'd already got to a bigger company called Tribal... so all tutors were laid off with immediate effect about 2 weeks after I'd started. They're hired, expecting to need to ramp up their staff, they didn't expect to be closing down.)0 -
