    What Masomnia said.

Going back to work after you've been a SAHM felt v scary to me and I wasn't at all sure I could do the job (even though it was the same job as before I had my kids)!

This is something you need to do at this stage in your life, whether it's this job or another one. Give it a go. See what happens. It will probably be fine. And if it isn't, so what? You're not signing indentures for the next 7 years or anything. If the job doesn't work with the rest of your life, you can leave and find a different one.

That's pretty much what I have been telling myself.....and youngest has also been telling me (he's become so grown up just recently, what happened there!)

It's just a touch of the wobbles, I become plagued with insecurity about my abilities and then I stress about everything else.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Ouch Zag, sounds like the sort of thing I would do!

Interview appeared to go well, they liked all that I have done with my website and the skills which are relevant to the job offered, they also liked my knowledge of that particular sector even though I have never worked in it.

They will let me know by the end of the week but already I am wondering if I am trying to take on more than I can handle with the hours, it it full time on steroids in the summer!

Good luck SingleSue. It appears that I have enough to share it around a little :)

In advance of my new job I found an analyst acronym: WAGNER. Wild A... Guess Not Easily Refuted.

Thanks, it will be nice to be back in the land of the living again, pay is ok, less than I was earning in 1991 but more than minimum wage, so can't complain really.

If I get it that is!

    Sure is. Thanks all!

I found a new favourite word. Perhaps not my very favourite but right up there. It's sesquipedalianism which means 'given to using long words'.

I thought I was pretty much better, did a half day at work locally on Monday and was ok so went to London for the day yesterday but by the end of it had no voice and was feeling shattered. Was planning on working locally today but feeling more like a day at home may be the way to go. When I was ill I never felt really terrible but I guess I was actually quite sick :(
    I think....
