(DD likes typing smilies but I don't often let her clutter up my posts with them. This news seemed like a good opportunity to let her knock herself out - with a proviso that she must only choose from smilies appropriate for responding to good news. And yes, she should have been asleep hours ago, but since she isn't, I thought, well, what the heck...)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I told you I've decided that 2015 is going to be a good year. It started well with Tottingham stuffing Chelski and now I've got myself a shiny new job.0

Ouch Zag, sounds like the sort of thing I would do!
Interview appeared to go well, they liked all that I have done with my website and the skills which are relevant to the job offered, they also liked my knowledge of that particular sector even though I have never worked in it.
They will let me know by the end of the week but already I am wondering if I am trying to take on more than I can handle with the hours, it it full time on steroids in the summer! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

You don't know until you try. Hope it works out.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -

What Masomnia said.
Going back to work after you've been a SAHM felt v scary to me and I wasn't at all sure I could do the job (even though it was the same job as before I had my kids)!
This is something you need to do at this stage in your life, whether it's this job or another one. Give it a go. See what happens. It will probably be fine. And if it isn't, so what? You're not signing indentures for the next 7 years or anything. If the job doesn't work with the rest of your life, you can leave and find a different one.Do you know anyone who's bereaved?
