Bloody hell Nikkster. After the few years I've had you can't post something with the headline 'Bank goes into administration' without warning me first. I was coming over all 2008 again!

    Oops :o sorry Gen!

Had a quick search and can't see any bodycon dresses I'd covet, so hopefully all is ok.

Re formula feeding - in an ideal world I guess all mothers would want to breastfeed, and all babies would be able to do so with ease.
Back in the real world, neither of these is true so end of discussion.

I'm sure many children are fed a number of things that are a lot worse for them than formula feed.

Never heard of NCT. Worked out it's a baby group thing.

Maybe the tip here is to take tips from Generali on how to behave.

Pork shoulder steaks will be lovely, you find out how much lentil you need/like after you have done the recipe a couple of times, I like loads so it makes a nice thick 'gravy' some people might like it more runny, its not a fussy recipe, but good comfort food on a cold day!

Ooh - I have a load of pork shoulder steaks in the freezer. I also have lentils.

I think I've found my first slow cooker recipe :) It also suits my style of cooking - no measuring, just bung it in :D

    Thanks Joanthebone

I think we deserve at least the title, or a clue as to the 2-3 main ingredients. or did you mean Joan's recipe?

I thought the hint was in the post I quoted which mentioned pork shoulder and I said I had some in the freezer? ;)

Yes, Joanthebone's pork and lentil slow cooker spectacular :)

A toss up tonight at 9pm:

BBC2 - Documentary "Rich, Russian and Living in London" http://www.radiotimes.com/episode/dc7w8h/rich-russian-and-living-in-london

Channel 5: Documentary "Benefits - Too Fat to Work" http://www.radiotimes.com/episode/dc7xg4/benefits--series-1---1-benefits-too-fat-to-work

Channel 5 has a 5+1 option though so I'll probably watch the Russian thing first.

We're going for Broadchurch on ITV. First series was brill. though for some reason OH didn't watch it. Maybe it was on when he had his Free Rock 'n Roll nights out?

We got a further offer from developer lady. It's close, but not quite close enuff for me... makes the difference between a holiday to celebrate or not a holiday to celebrate. IYSWIM. And I don't think we're quite that desperate yet. We have to let EAs know tomorrow morning what we decide.

I went to local ante-natal classes that were during the day, with only one evening class to which OH's were invited.

They girls were generally ok but a very mixed bunch. One lady was about 45 and was already a grandmother, one was a jehovah's witness who had to remind us each session that she wasn't having a transfusion. (as it happened she was the only one of us that should have had a transfusion, she refused and was on heavy doses of iron for weeks after; her JW group then told her not to have any more in case she needed a transfusion in the future).

Some of the OHs were not quite the full ticket. One clearly didn't understand the basics of child birth and kept asking stupid questions.

I met up with some of the girls afterwards, but it didn't last long.

Went to NHS classes for DD1. Went to NCT classes with OH for DD2.

While not really much use for Childbirth I do find the breathing exercises very useful for when I visit the dentist... :rotfl: Or at least the one I had in the past - Nice Lady Dentist and now New Nice Dentist I get sufficient pain relief. :j
