I really don't want to like Taylor Swift, but her sings are so flipping catchy.
I must confess to the same. A friend on another forum introduced me to one of her songs and it really impressed me. I'd never really heard of her before.
Actually there was an advert for a show about musicians tonight and I recognised not one single name until hers at the end. This disturbed me a bit as I like music a lot until the title flashed up and it was British Teen Music Awards, which explained a lot.:DThere is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
I'm increasingly thinking that a meetup involving me is going to be off the cards. Really sorry. This visit has become quite political in many ways.0

Gen, if you had wanted a meetup, we would have loved to have seen you, but the very last thing we want to do is to become another "ought to" on your list of burdens and responsibilities.
If your visit is becoming political, I imagine that means that it is being difficult and stressful for you. So sorry to hear that - but not especially surprised considering everything. We are here for you whenever you need us, and we are all hoping for the best for you.
Sending hugs and prayers.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Thank you LydiaJ. 2014 can kiss my balls quite frankly. 2015 will be better, even if it doesn't want to be.0 -
Just to catch up:
If I am in the house all day, then of course i need the heating on all day. But it's also a good idea to wear an extra layer. It's when I am thinking of putting gloves on inside the house that I reach for the thermostat. The kids seem to think that they should be able to walk around in t shirts in the middle of winter, with the house at tropical temperatures.
DW would not regard a mixer as a gift for her, Chewie. It would just be an item for the house. I don't know how you got away with that one?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

This here too. The intention of going to the gym 5 hours later means it is not "worth" dressing warmly. Then someone comes back from the gym with raised body temp and opens all the windows!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
