I went to the hospital 2 days ago and they pretty much told me to pull myself together which is the current plan.

Bollicks to being ill, I'm going to be well. I'm not sure how that works in practice but in theory it sounds good so I'm going with the theory.

I do that sometimes and it does work for a while. :D. But then something else happens. :(

Yup but I don't have a mess of different things wrong.

I had cancer of the thing.
The cancer was cut out of the thing.
I had some radiotherapy of the thing.

It's pretty simple to get over, I hope, if I have the right attitude. I'm deciding to be well. If that doesn't work then I'll go for a different approach but that's good enough for now.

My geese live with my chickens. We get rats. Mine are a bit wimpy though. And foxes can take geese. In the city there is easier pickings...why would they?

I think you have the right attitude, I really do. I also reiterate what I said from the beginning, you have an advantage in that you are fit and you know about 'walls' and getting through them. What I hope is that you recognise that sometimes its as well to pedal round a longer, slower route. Because I think you have absolute ability to be 'you' again. But I think that some walls are probably for smashing through and some for tapping on for a while. I am vry, very poor at recognising this, because of think I can with go through all of them, then I scare my self, don't try, then when I try again, return to battering ram mode. I want you to be better than me. Because you AREN'T a mess exactly and can be better fully. :).

Beautiful things aren't they. :) we had one on London who used to sleep on a first floor flat roof. One night , about two am. he came out and I was sitting in the car with the door open and he stuck his head RIGHT in, it was AWESOME. Its the second closest I've been to a live fox, but was the closest then, I could feel his breath on my leg. Now I've cuddled babies. :D

lir is trying to say be kind to yourself and stop when tired Gen. It is a mistake I made long ago recovering from illness and the net result is long term illness and a three year period of 'I can't remember that very well'

There seem to be far fewer foxes around this area than previously. I wonder if there's been a cull, or some sort of fox disease?

On second thoughts, are they simply steering clear because of the little dog? If so, I must tell her. She'd be flattered.

I just told her, and she wagged her tail.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

A house fly your age would have a family of
    26,488 generations by now

And I have 1 neutered westie. Thanks for that, trev, I feel utterly inadequate now!

There ought to be a posh alert for someone who has a whole floor of her house she does not use?

That's like those Manor houses where they don't heat the North Wing or whatever.
