It's just rice isn't it? Rice with stuff in it ....

I saw a recipe earlier today that might have been of interest with the leftovers... doubt I could re-find it now though. It was rice balls, with something shoved inside, then they were coated with something and fried.

Arancini? Wouldn't suit this one. ( but you should try one if yo
U get the opportunity to try hot and fresh....the simplest are the best IMO)

Risotto is just rice if pie is some stew with a carb lid.

Doglet has admirers and she's really chatty. Lady GDb is just wonderful.

RP and I having risotto this week, I, er...... Over catered!

    :j

I bet Lady GDB is every bit as wonderful as she always sounds in GDB's posts.

Is Doglet as sweet as she looks in pics? How are her paws?

Song submitted to Eurovision Georgian final.

I am officially gagged by contract until December 20th as to who and which song, but if it gets through, it's the one I co-wrote :)

She's wonderfuller. :). Doglet is BRILLIANT.

She, er, didn't get the best welcome as dog dog greeted her a bit roughly, kind of like she would kiwi, and I was furious with her, she full on tackled her, bouncing on her for rough ]. Rptruely not on, not fair and quite out of character. Thankfully doglett stands up for herself AND is forgiving.

Dog dog 'suggested' she join doglet on the back seat ( from the boot) a few times on the journey home too. Really, most exasperating.

Anyway, home with out incident, we met the other dogs, who doglet was not bothered by, but not particularly impressed by. :D, and she really IS that cute. She has big front feet. Really cute and round ( I'm getting so used to looking at rabbit feet of kiwi and dog dogs long toes) and she's just so talkative. She likes keys veg, especially cucumber, and she had raw lamb for supper. ( hope she lasts the journey home!) Which she thought was yummy I'm told ...I didn't feed her, fir, GDb and Lydia's dd did. ( not pushing raw feeding....:D)

Lydia was her favourite person....it was so sweet to watch. She adopted Lydia's lap, and told kiwi off for looking hopefully at it. :). She speaks excellent dog, kiwi understood perfectly, there was no scuffle, all was as it should be.

I'm pretty hopeful (wishes I could put up an earlier video, but that would identify the client, who has specifically asked not to be publicly identified) :)

I will reveal all as soon as I can, I promise!

ETA: Filming tomorrow in an undisclosed location within 20mi of the office; look for the black 2 Range Rovers with the boot window up :)

If I ever thought I wanted that, then I'd start by thinking of: bananas, plain cereal in a plastic/lidded pot (I don't eat cereal with sugar/milk often), I'd make/eat some form of cereal bars, of which there are 1000 recipes online.

Or, if you want to "go a bit mad", then why not bake some scotch eggs, covered in something less calorific than breadcrumbs. e.g. you can coat them, instead, with semolina, or polenta, or even cornflakes. That'd give you "sausage and egg".
Nature s brilliant. Hard boiled eggs ( while you are cooking supper, do a couple of days worth. Vegetarian for ds too. :) ) and an apple. Protein for sustenance, and one of your five a day. Banan if its too cold for an apple, cucumber for dd is a great variety, celery, carrots. Fruit / veg that needs no / minimum prep obviously the way to go ( not kiwis, or melon for example.

I also find a packet of crackers, very plain or oatcakes, a handbag life saver. For those days when I really have got sugar levels / hunger wrong.

I'm guessing it might be too much to rustle up some of Nigella's breakfast bars on a Sunday for the week ahead? They're quite child friendly to make. Get ingredients from Aldi where possible, they are a lot cheaper for nuts and fruit than the others.

Definitely. In my current state of mental health, any solution has to take no effort, either at the time, or in advance, or I'll simply end up not doing it. It also needs to be non-messy enough to be eaten in a series of bites taken at different red traffic lights along the journey, and keep for ages so that I don't have to be organised about it. Otherwise skipping breakfast and eating at break half way through the morning will happen by default.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
