Lydia, no kiwi is fine. He was quite exhausted an 'emotionally detached' from the other dogs last night, didn't eat a biscuit given as a 'congratulations' and while wagged his little tail when I went to him, did not try and snuggle with me all evening
I thought he'd be hard to get in after the last widdle break and check outside, but if think the cold weather helped, he skipped right in.
He's very attentive this morning, but checked out all his normal spots, didn't linger on the chicken house or anything. Today I am home all day, its dog meat delivery day for one thing.
I'm hoping to spend some quality time with him discussing how he is still my Woowoocuddlepupwup even if he thinks he's da man.0 -
How does a dog kill a fox almost as big as himself, without suffering a scratch? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

I need to get back onto this. Considering the high birth rate at my place of work, I feel the need to tell everyone 'I'm not pregnant, I'm just fat' at the moment. Tis not good. The 5:2 thing gets better. It's the only 'diet' I've ever managed to stick to - and this time last year, 5:2 and 'The Shred' (an exercise video) had worked surprisingly well for me (was still plenty of scope for weight loss, but it was a noticeable improvement).
I'm not finding it too bad so far.
Today I had some fruit for brekkie (getting quite into that), smoked salmon with undressed salad for lunch and I'm about to have beef fillet with veggies for dinner. Actually that's not a bad amount of food considering.0 -

I agree. I find the trick its to avoid carb-heavy stuff and eat as much in the way of vegetables as possible.
Thanks for the hug, michaels. All hugs gratefully received0 -

Ask him.
I'll be going over him more closely today with a brush. But certainly nothing grievous.
Kiwi's roles traditionally was to poach and to tackle thinks like badgers, which would be bigger and heavier than them. They are quite surprising little things.0 -

I actually feel happier when I fast. More alert, faster.
The meals you can have on the five two plan are bounty ful IMO. With some imagination ( and the plethora of recipes out there ) I think its a reminder for many simply how good food can be tbh.0 -

Hugs, hugs, hugs, hugs.
I tried to find the hug image, but it's not there. I can see why people give the grouphug so often, it's because you get to the end of the list and it's the last one on the list, so easier to do that than to go back and insist on finding the regular hug picture0 -

I like the dodgy hug. It looks so cosy and safe and supporting.0 -
Does that work?
Edit. Apparently not!No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Thanks for all the words of encouragement too. I do hate having to be adult about things, but I've got to say I am quite proud of doing *something* proactive today.
Some thoughts...
What you perceived earlier as his negative feelings about you may just have been him thinking "Oh **** I am supposed to be giving this girl the help she needs and I should have [insert what he ought to have done, eg "read her thesis and got back to her by now" or other supervisory activity].
GP is good plan. Don't just think about it. Actually go. And tell us when you've been - I can nag you about going if that will help. If the GP agrees that there's something wrong, then tell your supervisor - it may help to explain why you should be given further time.
Have a look at the game I mentioned yesterday. I think it is beginning to help me. I think it might help you too.

I'm here for you as much as my circumstances allow. If there's anything I can do - if you'd like to meet up or talk on the phone or anything - then email me. You should already have my email address.
Finally, well done on letting people to persuade you to go to the social. The fact that they bothered to persuade you shows you that they wanted you there. Remember that.
Let me know if you'd like me to delete this once you've read it.
(This is not a native MSE smiley. I copy the code from http://www.sherv.net/hugging-emoticon-180.html when I can be bothered, or use :grouphug: if I'm in a hurry.)Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
