Years ago I knew a guy who had size 15 feet. There was only one shop in town that stocked any of that size.0 -

I've only ever received blank looks from reclamation yards. I don't think they really like paying for things at all. I've subsequently gone on to make good money from said stuff on ebay. I've had two requests for buy it now on it this afternoon. One more polite and kindly telling me how to remove it, than the other who suggested knocking the wall, which I thought was a little far fetched!
This will get knocked off my client's bill. I'm not living it up on the proceeds but I don't know anything about it either, to be offering it around.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

He was never going to be only able to drive cheap cars.

I have just spent £63 on a replacement part to mend a tap! I'm impressed that Grohe still have the parts available after nearly 20 years, but the prices are a bit grotesque. (No pun intended.)No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

There are a couple of restoration websites but stock moves slowly I think.
There I are one or two that deal only with bathroom stuff...might be worth approaching them? Some are baths mainly or loos mainly. Some focus on periods. I agree with you, it would make a super bedroom piece IMO.0 -

Tbf it was a big car, not a little sporty number.
But yeah.....but then I don't think it was ever expected. He lives in the flat his parents bought him too, opposite his place of work ( so he's not late and doesn't have to worry about commuting costs / time) in Chelsea.
.
But he is a really nice guy. Just very lucky and very loved by people who are hardworking and lucky both.0 -

We don't have the radiator on in our bedroom, so I've finally broken out the winter weight duvet. 15 togs. It's nice and warm, but too heavy for comfort, unfortunately. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I can confirm it's cold oop North
I'm not convinced that Schadenfreude is NICE, but it's quite satisfying.

Sorry to hear you won't hear about the job until next week, Mas.
Well done on speaking to your supervisor, Nikkster. Hope you feel better about the next steps (if that's what it's all about).
Am resisting the urge to open a bottle of wine. It will prevent me from getting a good night's sleep. But I'm feeling tired and emotional from too many late nights and frustration at colleagues (and particularly my manager, who is a really lovely person but has too much going on for him to retain much info or deal with stuff).
I wrote down what I have to cover in the days I have left until Christmas, and then in January. It was rather more than I have bargained for...
I'm sure it'll get sorted but sometimes lists are useful, and other times you wish you hadn't looked at them!
Anyway, time to get tea I think. Steak pie from the butchers. Wonderful :j0 -

Today body worker made hitherto good knee good again and made bad knee amazingly more stable but warned it would swell tomorrow and to keep off it as much as possible just for the day ...raised.
No change of waiting till tomorrow, its HUGE. I think its stable because the oedema ( specially for pn) is fluid splinting it!0
