Nikkster, I hope you feel better for speaking to him, sometimes the worry of doing something is far worse than the doing.
I hope you saw the bit of text where I said I am wider now than that pic:(
GDB, I'm not sure either - I have hit the accelerator instead of the brake before now with less spectacular results. The first is just sheer laziness, he could have lifted it over the goods on the left of him. Try explaining it to the insurance.....0 -
I like the second one! Double collapse.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0

Bumped into supervisor again. Instead of letting it go at 'Hi' I asked if we could find some time to have a chat (my hands and legs started shaking at this point). Which we did. I was very honest. He listened. We have something of a plan.
Thanks for being somewhere for me to vent last night.
Sounds productive. Hope you feel better for discussing it.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
Nikkster, there is great reason we are so fond of you and so proud of you. Well done.
In other news. Kiwi just killed a fox.
I feel very sad, but he did just save all the chickens. Fox pretty much his size.0 -
Just what I was about to ask. Hope it went well.
We did not go for a walk. my hand had a lot of oedema in it today and it is an increasing problem as it was getting quite solid, so we had to prioritise that.
pre stroke I had oedema in the left wrist anyway following cardiac surgery, but now it is from my finger tips to elbow.0 -

Good call. It turned quite cold this afternoon anyway.

It's turned absolutely freezing! Bitter cold creeping in! I'd be no good if I lived oop North.
I went out with out a coat. Body workers heating had packed in. I had taken pjs to wear as need to do a wash ( I have to wear something very stretchy.....body worker won't work on you in underwear). The pjs were not nice warm fleecy ones. New car has a heated seat. Contrast between the car, being worked on, the car, getting out to walk in to house was like a spa experience in itself. ( I did wear trousers over pjs apart from at body workers. )0 -
Washstand is lovely doozer, hope it gets a well deserved price. Not worth showing a reclamation yard?0

So have I. Well, hit both brake and accelerator together, because I was wearing rather wide shoes. Fortunately, no catastrophe resulted.
MIL borrowed a car, put it in reverse gear, and applied rather too much gas. As the car accelerated backwards, that threw her weight forward, pressing her foot harder onto the accelerator. So, she shot backwards even faster. She wrote off the car she was in, the one behind, AND the one across the road. All belonged to the same person, who had loaned her the first one.
I'm not convinced that Schadenfreude is NICE, but it's quite satisfying. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I hVe a friend with VERY large feet. It limits his choice of cars because of ability to use the pedals. ( so he says....his parents got him a very swanky car anyway)0
