Richard III was actually a blue eyed blond, well as a child at least. That and the Royal Family may not actually be all that Royal:

I read a similar thing in the DM .... and it was written so badly I hadn't a clue what it was saying :)
And it wasn't just me, one of the comments said something like "interesting, if I could have followed it"

Sounds like you are doing the right things. Sometimes a good cry is healthy...let's it out.

Now you need to put something good in there...work some but also something nice....film on demand in room? Or is there good tv in room? Is bed good? Any one else cool at conference?

    Yes.

Anything interesting in the mini bar?

    I haven't won the lottery!

Actually there are some interesting things... mini bottles of Chambord and Mozart (a chocolate liqueur apparently). Along with a 'couples intimacy kit'

I decided to treat myself to a curry from the adjoining restaurant and nipped to a supermarket for a bottle of beer.

    I also phoned a friend.
    I have stopped crying.
I am working on the work.
I have 'Taken' on, on the tv. It is terrible in many ways, but so so good.

Beer and Taken sounds like a nice night in! Who needs 'intimacy kits'? :p

Hopefully should hear about this job tomorrow. In my head I've got it. This isn't really a good thing because I think I'll be pretty crushed if I don't get it now. With graduation next week I really don't want to have to go and explain that I'm still unemployed (even though there will be a few people there in that boat).

F messaged me earlier. After not hearing from her for a couple of weeks I'd given up on that but she's suggested we go to the Christmas markets. So that should be nice.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Chambord...that's the black raspberry stuff in the narnia -eqsue type bottle isn't it? Yum. I'd have that.

I watched the first bit of taken once and was really genuinely uncomfortable. So switched it off. I feel I should watch it in the hope it gets less scary as it goes on and i don't think about it when I see its on any more.

I forgot to mention yesterday, DD1 played for her school and they won the county U11 basketball tournament :j...then today they had a netball 'grudge' match at the primary school that is 100m away - which they lost 8-2 :rotfl:

Lydia you want 1 tap lever.
    I think....

    Well, I definitely don't!

Good luck waiting for The Call. And enjoy the Christmas market :)

Lol. Nothing too contraversial - the contents are listed on the box btw, I haven't opened it!

I don't think I've ever had Chambord before - maybe in a cocktail? Yes, spherical bottle. I expect I could buy a whole normal sized bottle for the mini bar price.

I can see why you'd feel uncomfortable at Taken. But it's so cheesy (dialogue-wise) and has really stupid unrealistic bits - they're what somehow makes it great.

Thank you. Would you care to elaborate why? :)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
