He's also found himself in a band, they are recording on Monday.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I don't know the first thing about drumming, but it sounds good to me. In time and all that :)

It's good, as usual. He has a talent.

Today there is one of the races that use our driveway as a watering and steward stop. I feel so shabby about the state of it I cannot begin to describe it. Its times like this those hours of added up sleep really hit home. :(

Good for your friends over here. ( I include us in this)

As you should. You guys were as supportive as anyone when I was sick. That meant and means a huge amount to me. Slightly bizarrely, I also got a lot of support from a Bulgarian pop star who I have never met. She sent messages of support and stuff, she really went out of her way which was incredibly kind. We have a mutual friend who died of ALD a while back.

Then off to the club for the meat raffle. To show that this gambler also reports his losses, I spent $20 on tickets and won nada. Didn't enter last week hence no meat raffle report.

Oh, and the Doc thinks I've hurt my back quite badly. Wants me to go for an MRI or CT scan. He says I can do either. CT scans are free, MRI costs $350 less what the insurance will give me back (not much I think) and Medicare (probably 35%). MRI is better so I'll probably go for that. Oh and it looks like there's a 50/50 chance that Mrs Generali is going to lose her job (don't know if I said before). 2014 blows.

Still, at least I'm not Phil Hughes or Sean Abbott. The huge amount of support for the bowler has been really quite something. Every time the Phillip Hughes thing comes up, the person seems to say something supporting to Mr Abbott.

I don't know what to do about my future really. I'm stuck.

A chap I went to uni with is from Azerbaijan and has invited me over  really should take him up on it!

The new Baku is amazing! I worked in Crystal Palace for 3 weeks in 2012, which wasn't built for Eurovision (said the host government), but it was thrown up in 7 months (instead of the planned 3 years) and it was the first event to be hosted in there :)
Never heard of it. Now I'll have to Google it to see [a] is it real? is there a joke there I missed.

    Kyrgyzstan.

Yes it is, it's supposedly a lovely country, and I'd love to go there at some point.

Oh no, it seemed to be going so well for Mrs Generali! Would you guys consider a longer contract ( two years or something) somewhere....the kids are far enough away from exam years still aren't they? Might make a together move to somewhere worth it?

If you want to work for yourself, Gen, the phrase is JFDI. Don't wait until you're ready; you won't be.

The Crystal Palace (and Australia) captain put his bat out on the match ball yesterday, as did several clubs. Everybody is touched. I hope Sean Abbott finds the strength to play again.
